It's interesting comparing their initial reactions after we score a goal vs when anyone scores against us. They take a bit more joy in calling their goals, it seems
Quite funny hearing Robinson chuck his toys out of the cot post match. "If the players don't show they want to win then I don't want to be at this football club".
We really need either Piscopo or Davila to be fit enough to play. We need that creative outlet, a player who can hold up the ball and bring other players in.

Pre-empt the sacking. "You can't fire me, I QUIT!"
I am not sure how we won this game without Piscopo and Davila, and with Waine muscled out of the game. Can the club lodge a protest with the league about Gordon's foul on Piscopo? It was premeditated "with intention to cause GBH".

I heard it as 'If the players don't show they want to win, then I don't want THEM at this football club". Whichever, he was grumpy.
Where were the RBB? Given up on their season already?
Margush will have nighmares about Taylor tonight. Lewis quality corners.
Interesting to hear Talay praising Rob Morrison in the post match, when prompted by Bozza. Words like 'vision for the club' etc. Roll on Sunday. Uffie said Davila is likely to be okay for 15-20 mins, so Sotiro starts in place of Piscopo.
Love that we have something to play for at Eden Park now. Let's go 25k... Auckland might do okay with the walk up crowd if it's a nice day (currently it's not looking flash), Eden Park is so massive that lots of people don't buy in advance as there is no risk of selling out.
The 8 hour drive is worth it. Everything to play for. Beat Perth and we can nail MacArthur too.
I'd like to give a BIG shout out to Griffiths-Jones whom proved without doubt that he is just a shark off the pitch doing VAR as he is on the pitch. A complete muppet that saw Siggy get one yellow instead of one straight red or two yellows and a red. You're an egg.

It couldn't have worked out better. Even if we miss the finals now the club has at least managed to get a tidy financial boost, plus the value of these hometown games will definitely carry over into next season as far as the profile of the Nix goes.
Just got back from the game, cant believe how many shots we had on goal that we blue, Anyway bring on Glory. Looked like me turning up tonight lifted the guys and they did what was needed.

Boy there were no passengers out there tonight. What a collective effort. The concentration. Determination. Hemed really contributing. Fenton and Sutton excellent on the flanks.
Oli Sail, what a beast of a performance. Not too sure how many of them he knew about, but they stayed out and that's all that matters. Imagine the confidence it must give the backline to have someone in that kind of form between the sticks. Keeper of the season, no doubt about it.
Backs to the wall performance, but we live to fight another day. Will be some sore bodies in the changing room after that one and on the flight home. Devlin was hobbling towards the end there and I hope Piscopo hasn't been done over by a serious injury once more, but the obvious discomfort and his glum reaction sitting on the sideline doesn't bode too well for the weekend.
25k plus for the weekend please Auckland, the boys need you more than ever up there. Don't let us down.
Just as a quick final aside, my boss caught me as I was clocking out and was wondering what I was so animated for at my work bench. I told him the Nix needed all the support they could get tonight to keep the season alive, and that he, as an Arsenal fan, wouldn't be able to fully understand such an outrageous concept. 🤣🤣🤣
Future work repercussions aside, I bloody love football. COYN!
Happy to win, happy to win while the ref was trying his best to fudge us (again), happy to destroy both WU and WSW's top 6 hopes in less than a week - both dirty fudgeing sides.
Also just quietly, Hemed has been very good the last couple weeks.
I think this game also proved that Talay's system is so entrenched that even having 0 creative spark didn't completely kill us. (helps they can't defend corners, but..)
Weve gone from villain to hero in multiple aspects. And the nix push for the finals is the feel good story the aleague needs. Colvinator

You can see from watching this that the commentators love us when we play good. 5699966

Bozza has spent the whole last few days raving about how awesome our crowd was in New Zealand, love that.

I can't like this enough. Superb effort from the team. Wasn't overly confident with the way the ref was behaving (and Gordon) but we did it. Hoping for as big a crowd as possible on Sunday, the team deserve it. Hemed, really has come into his own over the last few weeks. He's a must now IMO.
