If only we could play you every week at Old Trafford,we would win everything.
By the sounds of it we were pretty disappointing,would love to see the highlights of the "disputable" penalty.

Does anyone else think Adebayor doesnt work with Eduardo up front? Bendtner and Eduardo seem to be a good combination but the times Adebayor and Eduardo have played up front they have looked pretty poor as a pair.

We give the Scousers a chance to catch up and they f*ck up. Torres really shoud be at a better club,Everton to finish above the red scousers come the end of the season?

Like the calls goin up people - i have been telling all who will listen for the last month that everton will take 4th spot this season.

Although they will miss yakubu for the next month - johnson needs to start firing them in! But I have no doubt that he will...

Thought Blackburn might be a chance, but they have faltered over the last month or two. I really think they miss Pedersen - yes he is playing, but he is a shadow of his former self. What happened to that guy??? He used to be their best player really. Although Bentley is class (coming from an arsenal fan of course). Pity about Santa Cruz - he scores so many but they seem to lose every time!

Agreed that Man City are too crap away from home, but you never know, they have the cash and could get some real talent in this month that may change their outlook a little. Sh*t Petrov is good - sometimes i wish he was at arsenal... switch rosicky to the right, leave out eboue... did i just say that???

Yeah i agree regarding eboue, i think he has had enough time in the mids to prove himself which he has failed to do. Wonder if wenger will do any buying in this window, i know he said we wont but doesnt he always say that LOL

He has suggested he would look at bolstering the CB position.

I doubt he'd be looking at midfielders.

They're in the lead by goal difference, have some faith.

This will be a two horse race that will go down to the wire imo.

Sure we're down some players but Senderos has been playing ok and Eboue is definitely replaceable (Hleb on the right, which would have happened on the weekend but for Rosicky's cold).

Arsenal fear Ferguson has worked them out
tribalfootball.com - January 13, 2008

After their 1-1 draw with Birmingham City, there is fear inside the Arsenal camp that Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has sussed them out and is spreading the word among his extensive network of contacts.

Birmingham boss McLeish stopped just short of admitting that it was Fergie who had dictated his team's tactics for this game, says The Sun.

Big Eck said: "I spoke to him after we'd played at Old Trafford a couple of weeks ago and mentioned that our next league game was against Arsenal.

"I'm taking the Fifth Amendment on what he said but I'm sure he will be delighted with this result.

"I know this result will affect the league in one way or another but we've also done ourselves a big favour and I'm in this for Birmingham, not for Manchester United."

welcome back gunner, did you come back fresh? just read you comments about our dire situation following the b'ham game. need not worry, at least for now, as Arsenal said this will go right down to the wire. Chelski v Mancs for instance, and plenty more chance to go back top.

Be thankfull you dont support liverpool. There you would have a case to be upset.

Time for some common sense. Frankly i think the team will bounce back stronger as they feel the shame of knowing they could have played better but just didn't. It will put some fire in them. Senderos is solid, RVP is on his way back for at least 1 game (before inevitably injuring himself) and a midfield with Hleb & Rosicky instead of Eboue will have more attacking threat.
The sun is always shinier after a rainy day.

Last time Manure went top of the table above us they lasted 3 days. They have the slimmest of margins.

English duo in hunt for Russia striker Arshavin<!-- end pagetitle -->
<!-- begin text11 div -->
<!-- begin left column -->

Russia striker Andrei Arshavin has been linked with a move to Tottenham or Arsenal after his agent confirmed he is attracting interest from a trio of western European clubs.

<!-- new alias = AUS_england_england_story_300x250 --><!-- new key = +story;kvpage=story;kvcc=AUS;kvsection=england;kvleague=england;kvclub=;kvaid=498631;grp=9303351 --><!-- Tag // Tag for network 605: ESPN TN // Website: ESPN SC Keyword Site // Page: All // Placement: 300 X 250 (1181107) --><!-- End of Tag -->The 26-year-old, part of the Russia squad which secured qualification to Euro 2008, is one of the country's brightest talents and is thought to be keen to leave reigning Premier Liga champions Zenit for a new challenge.

'We have three offers for Arshavin. All three are from strong European teams,' Arshavin's agent Pavel Andreev told Sport Express. 'We are currently considering the pros and cons of each and carrying out consultations. Andrei wants to leave and is interested in playing abroad. 'Everything will be in place no later than Wednesday.' According to the newspaper, the three teams in question are believed to be Tottenham and Arsenal and French Ligue 1 side Marseille. However, Zenit spokesman Konstantin Sarsania insists no approach has been made for the player. Arshavin, currently on a pre-season tour with Zenit in the United Arab Emirates, has made no secret of his desire to play in England. 'For now I am here in the UAE as a Zenit player and am only thinking about tomorrow's training session,' he said. 'Regarding my future, I have already said I'd like to try one of Europe's top leagues, among which the Spanish and English leagues interest me most.'
I'd just get my name changed!! Arse Shaving for the Arse? Lonegunmen2008-01-16 18:16:23
