Im probably wrong but i thought the crowd seemed to be spread across more bays than they normally are. I just thought it looked about the same size as all those mens games we have had with that number.

You're probably not wrong given the total number in the crowd.

But that's basically the image I was looking at when I made the mistake of posting in here the crowd was disappointing because that's the angle I sat at.  Admittedly it was before kick off so it was even more sparce than that picture as more came in.

I only had that, the lines to get in, the lines for food etc to go by and I was comparing a subjective opinion based on the personal experience the weekend before.  So hardly scientific.

It didn't look like a lot of people to me.

I found it interesting that in the Katie Bowen interview on Phoenix nation. She said, she had no contact from the Nix about playing for us this season. even though she put it out there via Klimkova that she was keen to play A league. Bowen said she would have liked to play for the Nix but Melbourne City came calling.
How we could have done with her playing DM yesterday. Instead she was a rock at the back for Mel City.
I guess we signed Rolston instead as we needed a number 9 more than another DM. (having Wisnewski and Hasset already on the books)
Very surprised though to hear that there was zero contact and zero conversations with Bowen and the Nix.

I blame some of the Fever for that result. They should have stayed in Aisle 29. When they returned in the 2nd half to aisle 21, they started singing and City scored 2 in their first song and a 3rd in their second. They Jinxed the team!!

First half was pretty good, 2nd half not so good but this is only season 2 and with new players. I'm just happy we have a women's professional team. The men's one was cack for about 4 seasons too but we were patient with them. Cut the women the same slack. Working this Saturday so will miss the game. Shame, they deserve another 5k or more showing up. I believe that they were not used to paying in front of such a large crowd and having watched the other women's games in Aussie this last weekend, we were easily the biggest crowd.
