Team Training
If someone's going the trouble of putting the teams training
schedule on the site could they please keep it up to date or not
bother putting it up at all.
Yesterday serveral of us turned up at Newtown park to watch
but the team was at the pool.
Today myself and a large bunch of school kids were at Newtown
Park but it was a Phoenix no show again. The kids seemed
pretty pissed off. 
These are last minute changes. They are going to try and keep Fever
members updated about late changes via this site. Here is a message
from them..
I note some concerns about the late changes
to the Phoenix's training schedule. On behalf of the club I'd like to
extend our sincerest apologies to anyone who was put out by the changed
arrangements. You guys are our lifeblood and we truly appreciate all
your support. We want as many of you attending our training sessions as
possible, but unfortunately the schedule will be subject to change,
occasionally at late notice. We will do everything possible to keep you
all informed of what's happening. Thanks again, everyone. Keep up the
great work, Yellow Fever!

Ear Ear (sic) Well said..What about even leaving some sort of
notice at any Training Facilities also?

we just post the training schedules when they are given to
us
if we are informed of any changes, we post them
if we are not informed, we are not to know. we have
turned up to these sessions ourselves and been disappointed by the
absence of a training session, just as you have.
believe it or not, we are not co-ordinating phoenix training
sessions from YF HQ.
you'd also be surprised to know that we do not run the phoenix
comms department.
...but we should.

If you were to "do everything possible to keep you all
informed of what's happening" you would take a minute and post the
changes on here. Its a very easy thing to do. Geez, I wondering how
the players know where to go.
How can I believe when you say "sincerest apologies " when the very same day
this is posted the teams not training where we were told again.
Thats now 3 days in a row Ive gone from the Hutt to Newtown
for nothing. And once again I wasnt the only one there.

At least they're making an effort to make all trainings open to public, i heard the all blacks ahd a "secret" training session today ahead of this CRUCIAL test against Canada
it's not anybodys fault. Ricki is gonna change things from time to time. We will have to think of a way of hearing about it and getting it out there. Calm down Nightz please - dont blame their media guy - he didnt change it
It is so someones fault. This isnt the schoolyard were things have
to be PC.
No ones saying he changed it. He is the media guy so he sould
be communicating. If things change, like they will from time to
time, he needs to communicate that. How damm hard is it.
He deserves the serve he got after that pr BS you posted
on here from him and than the same thing happens again within a
day. Hope he turns up on Sunday so I can give him an earfull
to his face.

Having a bit of trouble reading? Where did I say it was his fault.
Its his fault he didnt bother to communicate it after previously apologising for doing just that!
Seems a few of you guys are happy with mediocrity, we've had
that before and see were it got us.
You've made a good point nightz. To apologise and then repeat the
mistake is poor. However I don't think it's worth throwing the
toys. it's a bit like throwing up over your dinner as you sit down
to the table. How are you going to enjoy the meal after that? Lets
see if they pick it up from here eh? The really important point
about the invitation to attend training is do we bring our boots or
our trainers? At least you have the opportunity to attend ( when
they post it right).

Relax Nightz, its not like theyre trying to sabotage them on
purpose. Relax.
TODAYS TEAM TRAINING HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE HOCKEY TURF (MT ALBERT).
MAY WELL BE THE CASE TOMORROW TOO (take note Nightz).

I always wanted to play footy on that National Hockey stadium.
They had a 7 a side summer league in Dunedin on the hockey turf
when I studied down ther, damn good times!!
about 3 or 4 years ago, about 6 of us regularly went down to the
Hockey Stadium in Avalon, Lower Hutt and TURNED THE FLOODLIGHTS ON
when no one was there (ie waited for them to leave around 11pm) and
played in that hahahahah was the best til we abused it and got
busted.
Now we just scab the light from the flood lights on the main field (100 metres) which lights up the smaller training turf right next door (bout 50 metres), but immaculate facilities.
