Who remembers a chap called Noel Brotherston, who played for
Blackburn and Norn Iron in the late seventies? He was a classic,
looked like he was playing in a clowns wig. Frizzy ginger balding
hair. Looked quite Garfunkled. Those were the days when Blackburn
hovered in the middle of the old second division, but he did play a
few games in the top flight for Spurs, so maybe he's eligible.
He died prematurely, from memory. Totally unrelated I know,
but it's another fact I need to divest my brain of.
