Shifting the season end to January

Not sure where I read this suggestion, but thought it was a good idea, that maybe the A-League should start a little earlier so it finished in January, so would allow players to be loaned out overseas after the season ends.

With Perth losing players like Dadi, Rukavytsya off overseas with a couple rounds to go, and the bids on Joel Griffiths, if the teams were in contention for the finals it would really hurt thier chances.

The season is short compared to other overseas leagues, so it might be a good idea. It would let players gain more experience, develop, and supplement their incomes.

its not going to help that as the league grows (as it is next season) it will get longer

They already have enough trouble with ground clashes in the league, with next years increased rounds moving it back in to the other winter code seasons seems a foolish idea.
