We need one for the away games so that they can beat up the other
teams mascot.
I am terrible in a fight, and have been beaten up by a large
chicken in front of people before and it was not something I want
to repeat.

My favourite mascot is the Northland Taniwha...slight bias though I
guess. I know at the Northland Rugby games the little kids really
get into the whole Taniwha mascot thing, and the Taniwha is really
popular, gives out a few freebies to the Kids and trys to spark up
the crowd. If the Phoenix or Yellow Fever can create a mascot that
can draw in younger fans then I think that would work really
well...because remember young kids need to bring their folks along
with them, they don't come along by themselves, so you are gaining
more crowd numbers. It might be a bit of a gimmick but if it is
done right it might turn out quite good for the club.

i'm keen, but I tend to get a bit frivolous with other mascots
dependant on what they are dressed up as.
But always keen for a bit of mascot biffo too!
