Saying Wenger is a worse manager than Benitez just goes to show how much of a f**king tard you are WPF. Have you only followed football since 04? Or perhaps even later than that.

Also if you don't know why Arsenal keep Wenger based on what he's done in the past then you really have no clue about football whatsoever.

Will Arsenal get fined for throwing the camera? My beloved Atleti got fined for throwing a coin at the Madridista scum's manager....

Buffy, yeah, I agree about the " only followed football since 04" comment. I think Rafa is better than Wenger, personally (a touch of bias on my part), but Wenger is a top manager. That cannot be disputed. The last comment is right too! In many ways Rafa and Wenger are in quite similar positions. But Wenger has the longetivity.

Man Utd supporter- I said at the start of the season that Chelsea were the best side and would win the EPL.

Big compliment coming from a Man Utd fan.  It's clearly a two horse race now, although the commentator pointed out yesterday that Utd were 8 points behind Chelsea at this stage last year.  Will be very interesting, particularly in January when we lose a few players for a month.

our fixture list is very kind during this period and i have no doubt we will cope, however, we do look flat without drogba upfront. when we beat wolves 4-0 without drogba all the attacking came from midfiled, against a better team we may have struggled to score.

january we have;   hull away
                               sunderland home
                               birmingham home
                               burnley away

if we do struggle here then we dont deserve to win the title

I'm a-thinkin' Chelsea will win the title. Just have to hope they have a Scolari-esque collapse. Actually, I'd rather they won the title than United.

Well, next season looks bright too. Sounds like you'll get Kun after all, but loan him back to us until the end of the season.

Well I think people assume we can't win it the first year without Ronaldo. Which is probably a fair assumption.

However we played Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and were the better team, though never got the result. We've had two poor away games, at Burnley and at Liverpool, but Chelsea have at Wigan and Aston Villa. So I don't understand all the talk either, though for sure Chelsea are favourites.

I've always thought of the league as a two horse race, not so much a big 4 as a big 2 and a lesser big 2. It seems to be turning out as such. Two things which MIGHT have an interesting bearing is the return of Hargreaves (could be back playing next week) and the African Nations Cup thingy, which Chelsea's best players (Essien and Drogba) are playing in I'm pretty sure.

Still a LOT of football to go, it's only just December!

yea as i said earlier, the fixture list isnt too bad so i dont expect that to be a problem. but having both essien and mikel out of midfield may make the back four a bit vulnerable

Man it is easy to get Arsenal fans fired up! Also Rafa and Wenger definatly should no longer be managing the clubs they are. I was very harsh on Wenger I must say but he has done nothing for like the last 4 years results wise so perhaps he has past his best?

Managing a football club has plenty more to do than just results. If it didn't then all the coach (as that's all he would be at that stage) would have to do is turn up on a Saturday and scribble some hieroglyphics on a chalkboard resembling formation and tactics and direct the players out onto the pitch.

Wenger runs the club from the bottom right up. He has overseen the move to the Emirates, resulting in relative short term loss but expectional long term gain. He has integrated training and coaching systems throughout the Arsenal academy, and only employed the finest coaches for his players. He continues to prove his expertise of the transfer market, working on a significantly smaller budget than several other top English and European clubs, yet continues to make smart buys that fit the mould of the system, the team, and most importantly, the club.

Say what you like about him, Wenger is a genius. To even compare him to the Fat Spanish Waiter is a joke.

Yeah how typical of Arsenal fans to act like that. Booing Ashley aswell. A little old now is it and how childish?

Yeah. Kinda like calling Wenger a paedophile. Hypocrite much?

Harsh given the influence Rafa has on our club, especially given he's had far less time to make his mark than Wenger.

Its a scary one. Make no mistake, you're getting one of the best young forwards in the world and, if played right, he could destroy Premiership defences on a weekly basis. And at least he's hanging around to keep us in La Liga

He could also fail in the premiership due to the physicality but I reckon he is class, so hopefully he goes well.

In terms of the title race, I would have to say Chelsea have had a relatively soft first half of the season.  We have some tougher away games towards the end, Man Utd and Liverpool included.  However, if we can get through Xmas and January with a decent lead it's ours to lose.  Question is - can Man Utd maintain a challenge or will they need us to fail badly?

Chocnut, yeah, that's a possibility. But he's stronger than he appears and he stays on his feet a lot when he could just as easily go down to win a penalty or free kick. However, Spain is much slower than the Prem so it is a valid point. I hope he's a spectacular failure, but that's cos I love him so much but couldn't stand to see him succeed with Chelsea.

Yeah. Write United off at your peril. Last season they went on that run from the start of December to the middle of March without dropping a single point or some madness. They freaked a bit after we beat them, but ulitimately they were too far in front.

Well played Blackburn.  Chelsea's understrength team did well to come back and take it to pens after playing 47 minutes with ten men.  Sounds like one helluva game!  Not a result I'm too gutted about to be honest
