I reckon footballers can play hard without having to act like 'hard
men' all the time. As long as ferrante does the business on the
pitch, he can be as 'new age' as he likes off it.

LOL, I trained with them for a month once. I was playing for North
Ferriby who are a feeder club and 5 of us got invited to preseason
training. Boothferry Park. What a dump that was in its latter days.
I left England cause I got home sick. Being in Hull probably didn't
help
We do have KC Stadium though. Harry Ngata went there and Nicky
Barmby plays there now. So it can't be that bad.

Feel the love C-Diddy...and then get them in at the Bencher on Friday!!!!
They come because we are lovely
They come not because of Ricky or the chance to play in the A league they come because.........
Wellington is a much smaller place than Melbourne, it's really compact and I know it sounds corny, but it's a loving city,
From Ferrante interview on Au.fourfourtwo.com, destined to become one of the great football quotes.
I feel a group hug and a round of positive affirmations should be part of YFs build up for Friday night

Oh man.....that's sooooo gay!
Not that there's anything wrong with that...

If we can attract quality players by the type of town we are
that's great (and pretty much the opposite of Hull -
sadly!).
Hell, if someone wants to come here because the have always
wanted to ride to work on a cable car that fine by me too.
Good on the lad, for - like you say - a quote that's a bit
different from the usual "interview by numbers" answers we often
hear.

What are you saying about Hull . It has
its lovely side too. Im just not sure where. Possibly under all the
grime and scum thats covers the place. We do have KC Stadium
though. Harry Ngata went there and Nicky Barnby plays there now. So
it can't be that bad.

Aye fair enough, just that the footymad board has persuaded me
that the Tigers are missing out on players who'd rather play
elsewhere - hell i still dream of playing for them and I'm not
barmy (or
Barmby)
Maybe Ferrante would put in a good work for the City of
Hull!!

Impressive mate. I'm jealous, but then sounds like you could
play a bit - which might have helped in my case
.

Malky you're a walking thesaursus as well as a human
dictionary - impressive mate
All thing being equal to the UK and Europe, eg playing standard and
money, I think NZ would be the choice for most players.
that will be in the top quotes of the season...
Someone email the Welly City Council with that, it could be the new advertising campaign "come to Wellington, its a loving City...an Aussie said so..."
