SPARC turn up to see what sports support is really like ;)

Make sure you buy your tickets ON YOUR WAY TO THE PUB -
from the stadium kiosks.
That way we can all leave for the ground at the same time in a
big mob, and we won't loose any on the way who have to stop to buy
tickets. And I expect the queues will be fairly long and
slow.
So some to the pub WITH you ticket already in your hand/
wallet/ pocket!
what's the ETD from Backbencher? have to do something else
first, but wouldn't mind joining the mob on the way to stadium
I should be there from about 3ish, all going to plan.
Hopefully see you there just after 4 Frankie!
Mine is entirely hangover dependant... Aiming for
16:00ish.
Departure time will be between 19:00 and 19:10 I imagine.

Does the backbencher allow older kids that time of night?
Ring and ask. They said the Junior News won't be a problem.
thanks HN, I'll drag Totti and kids along than
Last game we left the BB 15 minutes before kick-off. But we left in
ones and twos.
15 is enough time to get to Aisle 21, but we might want to
leave 20 mins to make sure we are all seated toegther (before any
randoms occupy our seats!). I guess about 20 mins is ideal, we'll
decide at the pub though.
I think we should leave at 7 sharp. Gives us plenty of time
to get there and get in our seats for a bit of banter before kick
off
Good call.
We want to make sure we're there for the sides being announced. Who's ordering the golf cart for Frankie ?

We need a last orders bell rung at 6:45 or somethign to give
everyone a bit of warning to get 1 last drink in before we head
down!

Yes, but the bar might not be able to serve all the thirsty
punters 3 drinks each in 15 minutes . .
We need a YF bell to ring at 6:45. Do they have one at the
bar?
I'm sure the greeks could bring a bell along.

That's a shame.. . be nice if we were all in the
same place.

Worse case we spread to the front bar. Last time it was
standing room only pre-game in the back bar and an overflow in to
the courtyard outside (Sausages $1.00 a pop, funds to Yellow Fever
events committee).
dinner sorted too, that's a cheap date now ain't it

The colonel will bring his megaphone, so an announcement can
be made.

Bring em on down mate. Plenty of room. We filled up the back
of the pub l;ast time, but not the front and then there's the
courtyard too.

Dont worry about the bell, Colonel Halstead will have the
megaphone
I think that it is going to be packed tomorrow. I sure have
done my bit to round up the punters. Even my wife has a few
of her girlfriends coming along.
It is going to be an awesome night, and a nice big 'W' will just top of the night nicely.

Ahhh yes, the colonel!
I'll get there via the Thistle - might even drag out my Port Vale
shirt.

Go down the railway station platforms and head along the
raised walways. The kiosks ar prety much at the turnstyles before
you get into the ground
thought so. that may be a bit too far for Sir les to walk before
the pub.
The Backbencher is reserving about 4 leaners in the back bar for Yellowfever from about 4pm
Lets hope the sports minister or a few of the beaurecrats from

they are gonna sell YF retro rickis and YF beanies at the bar. I
think we are out of mediums - but you will prob need a large to fit
the 5 layers underneath anyways
I'm sure some of them will have seen a jockstrap
before, or have i got that wrong
Sorry I wont be there to say hi, but I have family
commitments. Make sure you make a mess and give the bar staff sh*t
:)
Bollocks. Got Bob Dylan commitments, curse 'im. Come on the 'Nix.
Awesome effort by the backbencher, the place was packed (possibly
overly so...)- but an awesome turnout- lets hope it keeps up all
season!
