I never thought I would say this but Neil Warnock is growing on me. In the sound bites I see of him on TV he always seems pretty chirpy and positive - oh, hold on, we're top of the Championship, might be different if we were in the bottom 3.
That said I'm sure that a lot of our resurgence this season is down to him. This man knows his way around a football club and a squad of players (and their individual character traits)!

we've improved because Palaidiot isn't signing players and getting 10% and the Orange Donut has lost his seat. NW and the Mattels are running the club how it should have been 15 Managers ago!

Palaidiot was responsible for Holloway leaving.

Still unbeaten but struggling to score. Hard to believe that we have only conceded 3 goals in 12 games - that is Championship-winning form!!

1-1 at Brizzle good result. Brizzle played a lot better than their position says. Ageymang equalised for us, 4 goals against in 12 games. And still top of the league.

In a bit of a "slump" at the moment but still picking up points. This is the sort of game we would have lost in past seasons. Shame Helguson got a touch to Mackie's effort for it to be ruled offside.

Good on the lads. It's clear for all to see that we weren't being challenged and the season would have been dead boring if we had continued to sweep all before us. Now the lads are dropping a few points and making it far more interesting for all involved............

More (goalless)draws but still only one point from top spot, unbeaten and with a healthy goal difference. I have a feeling these points will be important in deciding the success of our season.

Good results and unbeaten. Still Baardiff sh*tty this weekend at our place, will make or break. They have 4 quality strikers and we have.......... Well at least Adel is scoring 25 yarders, two last weekend.

Should be a good test. I am impressed that even though we haven't been playing all that well in recent games we are still collecting points. It is this that is keeping us in touch with Cardiff and ahead of the chasing pack.

2-1 over Cardiff, top by 5 points, 8 over 3rd placed Swansea.

The referee was a dick, He did not give three obvious penalties - 2 to QPR and 1 to Cardiff. Left the commentators bemused.

Gorkss & Taarabt for the hoops.

I love Neil Warnock!!! His interview after the Cardiff match cracked me up. After Jones had whinged about not being awarded a blatant "match-changing" penalty the gaffer's response was that we had won that contest 2-1 as well!!!
And then there is Taarabt.........where do I begin?

Not me but I have seen him, Got a QPR number plate. There were 5 QPR fans at the Nix game on Sunday.

Against Watford this weekend, if we win or draw, we equal our all time club streak of 20 consecutive games without defeat.

"glory Hunters"? I know 4 weren't, the 5th probably not as he was wearing a Binetone top from a few years back.
But don't worry, we're keeping our eyes peeled for glory hunters!

Well we put up our normal "in front to the TV cameras bullsh*t" game and rightly lost 3-1 to Twatford but the good news is that Swansea drew and are now equal on points with Cardiff who lost! So not too much damage and we have a game in hand - at Hull. Neil can now wear track pants instead of the "lucky" shorts and hey we went 4 months of the season unbeaten.

Yes, it will be very interesting to see how the players react. Hopefully just a blip. However, it was a good run while it lasted. Bleeds are on a good run themselves so not expecting a result there. Surely we can do better than that 6-1 walloping of a few years back.

Good to catch up briefly yesterday LGM. Jammy old Leeds eh? They're up to second now but we are still 3 points ahead with a game in hand. On the same number of games as Cardiff. I still feel that the football gods are smiling on us with two losses causing little damage to our league position. Bumped into a Leeds supporter at the YoungHeart pre-match today and he was right chuffed.

Suck result, their 2nd was a school boy error from Fitz Hall - he got turned inside out easily. The guy has the turning circle of a Number 28 London bus!

Oh and I'd like to thank the Leeds w**ker who threw an object that hit a kid in the head. Well done you brave f**kwit.

Take that Swansea! 4-0. Mackie, Helgusson and Taarabt who scored two. Still top by 4 points, away at Coventry in about 3 hours - if not snowed off. Lonegunmen2010-12-28 22:27:14

QPR won 2-0 in a game that had a forgettable first half but a much better second half. Adry Boothroyd is stuck in the mentality of playing hoofball and it is quite surprising that Coventry are doing so well.

An own goal from the Coventry goalie after Walker hammered a cross at him and it diverted into the net, then a Tommy Smith header from a bit of Adel magic, got us 7 points in the clear and the other results went our way too.

Championship leaders at the turn of the year. I just hope we can finish the job off.

What more can you say about Adel Taarabt? On form he is unstoppable. It would have been magic to be at Loftus Road for his display against Swansea. The defence have settled down again after a couple of games "on holiday" and we are scoring again. We'll need to be on our game for the visit to inform Norwich.
Thanks for the live feed LGM - I'll try it.

After 35 years of mostly disappointments as with a lot of other QPR fans, we are a down to earth bunch.

Can we do it? If the second half of the season stays the same as the first half. 84 points should do it. Colin (Neil Warnock) has got the pedigree to ensure it may well happen. We just dont want to count our chickens after so many let downs in the past. But Colin has given us genuine hope.

Can we survive if we did? The squad would certainly need overhauling but the basis is there. Kyle Walker on a permanent would be top of my shopping list. Spuds don't realise just how good their boy is for us. Helguson is finally performing too and Jamie Mackie has been a real gem. Adel Taarabt, on his day he would not shame any team and off his day, his ego needs to be wound in. Colin seems to be able to handle him quite well.

I believe if we went up in our current condition, we'd be midtable perhaps a bit lower. Not struggling too much but not getting the major scalps. The reality is, will our billionaire owners finally open up the purse strings? Thus far they haven't. The fees we have allegedly paid for some players mentioned in the press are bullsh*t. Faurlin did not cost 3 million and Taarabt was gotten for 600k plus pay offs if we did go up.

To call our board tightwads is quite factual when it comes to spending on the team.

B#gger! Just read that Kyle Walker has gone on loan to Villa. He has done well for us this season and will be a big loss. Also Agyemang is out with a stress fracture to his leg.
Good to see Lee Cook may be returning. Wonder if he can ever recapture his form of old?

Sadly I dont think so. Walker is a serious loss. I've been banging on about it on QPR sites that we should offer 3 mill for him. but our billionaire tight arses wont spend more than 750k on a player!

Sh#t!! Mackie broke his leg against Blackburn. Another big loss. Now things will get interesting as we see whether our second stringers can step up and fill the gaps.
Oh, and continued our proud tradition of exiting in the 3rd Round of the Cup. At least it didn't go to a replay I suppose.

EL TO PAY FOR HADJI DIOUF OVER VILE JIBE

Jamie Mackie last night accused El-Hadji Diouf of aiming sickening four-letter abuse at him while he was writhing in agony

10th January 2011

STRICKEN Jamie Mackie last night accused El-Hadji Diouf of aiming sickening four-letter abuse at him while he was writhing in agony with a double leg-break.

QPR striker Mackie broke his leg in two places following a 50-50 clash with Gael Givet in the 1-0 defeat at Ewood Park on Saturday.

But he was stunned to hear callous Diouf screaming in his ear while he was flat out on the pitch.

Mackie said: Im disappointed Diouf was in my ear as I was on the deck with a broken leg saying: F**k you and f**k your leg. Thanks!

Team-mate Bradley Orr added: I never came across anyone as vile as Diouf. He needs to be exposed for what he is a repulsive man! The actions of Diouf infuriated QPR manager Neil Warnock, who said: For many years Ive thought he is a gutter-type and I was going to call him a sewer rat.

But, on reflection, that might be insulting the sewer rats! I think hes the lowest of the low.

Diouf clearly thought that Mackie had gone in too strongly for the challenge, but Warnock said: He was just putting his finger up to Jamie Mackie, telling him he was a complete disgrace.

Theres no need for it in the game. I dont know why he does it.

What sort of person does that when someone has a broken leg?

Its a disgrace. Steve Kean (Blackburns caretaker-boss) will not put up with that. Hell be out, Id say, when he gets it sorted out.

Diouf is a waste of space and matter. It's embarrassing that ever wore the Red shirt.

On a brighter note, I really hope to see QPR in the Prems next season. Keep up the good work
