Solskjaer retires
"Who put the ball in the Germans'
net????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
One of my strongest football memories, not a Manc fan, but
what an ending to a game!!
"Bloody hell, football eh"
I thought he retired about 8 years ago
Ole will be fondly remembered.
im only 15 but remember screaming who put the ball in the germans
net... legend :)
An absolute legend
When Solskjaer scored...
i was in a bar in a small town in Brittany. It was packed. Three of us were encouraging** ManU (me, the bar owner and, Clare, my girlfriend)... The rest of the crowd were principally French with half a dozen Germans. When Solskjaer scored... when Solskjaer scored... Clare, who never swears, was yelling "I don't %&&^% believe it". Me and bar owner were jumping up and down and trying to hug each other..... The rest of the bar, perhaps fifty people, were in silence and just staring at us...
** No idea why!

That's a very cool memory
That guy was a legend
no different from the much maligned Winston Bogarde. Spent
his entire career sitting on the bench, instead of going to another
club and play every week.
Scored some goals (loads off the bench in 4-0 wins, after
coming on at 3-0) and 1 important goal, but lets not get carried
away. I mean, legend???????? Come on! Duncan
Edwards can be called a legend - career ended after dying in a
plane crash - but I don't belive that Ole Gunnar can.
he did come of the bench once and get 4!, v Notts forest i think

agreed not a legend (that would be Waggy!!!) but a
pretty cool finisher, sort of Greavesy style
and if you are going to score a winner in injury time, that
one particular game wouldn't be a bad situation to do it
in!
It does seem ridiculous that someone who still looks like they are
14 is actually retiring... TheJam2007-09-01 00:50:30

Your legend may be Dave Wagstaff, but mine is John Chiedozie,
ez Os, Spurs and Notts C.
Which makes me sadder cos Chiedozie now owns a bouncy castle
hire company.
Did well for someone who was allergic to grass, have to say (even
as Liverpool fan which he supposedly was too) he was a good player
as a striker and as a right midfielder filling in for
Beckham.

Ken Wagstaff, (i think David W was the wolves winger wasn't
he?)
Fantastic player, pity his career has to end like this.
