Utd a bit lucky this morning. Spurs should have won that in the last 5 min. I was happy with a point.
I think a lot of people on this forum underate Spurs.

Interesting article.

I think it bodes well. Definitely need to start look at refreshing the squad with some young talent.

Also see that Spurs think they can get Rossi for less than 20mil from Villareal, we should try and get him back. Would be a great fit to the team.

Also for the benefit of Paul, it was Berbatov's third hattrick this season.

I see Marty Devlin "outted" himself and got diversion when his wife locked him out of the car after the Birmingham United match. Personally I think he should have been commended for not throwing himself under it after that **** Boyer's last min equaliser!

Blimey. The ribbing from workmates had already started, at 2-0.

Starting to think this side is a little bit special.

He just fell awkwardly from the look of it, jumping to head clear a cross. I thought he was ok and play went on, we broke down the right hand side but all of a sudden the ref blew the whistle.

It took a good 7-8 minutes to sort out his neck, back or whatever, get the oxygen machine on to him and stretcher him off.

They wouldn't let Fabio on while he was on the field of play, but he went with Rafael down the touchline into the sheds.. I wonder if SAF even considered putting him on (as we needed a new RB), but instead went with Flecther to RB with Anderson coming on. Can imagine it would be difficult to concentrate knowing your twin brother is rather f*cked.

does that mean the neviller will have to play RB now permanently? Feck i wouldnt want that if i were youse, he looks hopelessly old these days, not exactly giggs...

i would assume fergie wouldnt risk it and would put Brown or O-Shea there instead?

Isnt fabio more a LB?

I guess it's a much of a muchness, though Fabio could have done a job this morning.

O'Shea will play RB, I don't think Gary will be first choice, so don't get your hopes up too much...

1st half Utd were lucky not to be more than 2 down.
The minute Giggs came on at half time the game changed.
The 1st half Utd. were as bad as I have ever seen them, but Blackpool played very well and deserved their lead.
At 2 down I would have settled for a draw, so 3 points was a bonus.

Van der Sar retiring at the end of the season :(

Was always one of my favourite players. As a goalkeeper i stromgly admired his professionalism and consistency. Will be sad to see him go.

Huge shame but he is very old. Has served us well, as you say pure professional.

Sad but it was definitely coming. Too many injuries in the last few years.

Won a lot of trophies in his time though. It now appears he will either be a youth coach or join up with the sexists on television. I think the producers like the idea of a Jamie Redknapp vs Gary Neville!

Very rare these days for somebody to have that much passion for his club and stay there for his whole career. I admire him for that at least.

Tbh, today could've been worse.

Reading around there's alot going on about how bad we've been this season and we're lucky to still be number 1.

Edit:

Now while without a doubt their has been bad performances - their has also been some fantastic ones that merely hint at United's full potential.

What could be a better way to lead into a City game than "f**king pissed off" Everyone will be up for it and no one will be thinking about records, only 3 points!Michael2011-02-06 09:46:40

thanks guys, you saved my day

if it wasnt for wolves, the nix, the black caps and the warriors this throwing away of a four goal lead would've ruined my weekend......
