1 Barba, 2 Barba, 3 Barbarouses
And I'm not overly sure, but I think I read somewhere that the Nix would get a small chunk of any transfer fee. Something about automatic sell-on fees. It'd only be very small mind. Same would apply to Rojas.

Or something like that.
He did, but Kosta is a far better footballer than Lochy.
He was back within 8 days.

* Kosta BARBAROUSES has been trialling with Italian Serie B side Torino and English League One leaders Brighton, where fellow All White Chris Wood has been playing.
The striker travelled to Italy and England after the All Whites' 1-1 draw with China a month ago and spent a week with each club. He has also attracted interest from clubs in Holland, Germany and Belgium after a breakthrough season.
He needed to return home to begin pre-season training with defending A-League champions Brisbane Roar.
Torino is a high profile Italian club, biggest rival of Juventus. A bit of a yoyo club, but they are Serie B and could be Serie A next year.

This. I would be stoked if he went to a Serie B side, especially a club like Torino. Would give him a better chance of game time as well.

He's just returned from trials with seven-time Serie A champions Torino and newly promoted Brighton & Hove Albion but had to forgo trials with two Dutch Eredivisie clubs, a German Bundesliga and German second division club, plus a top division outfit in Belgium. He needs to be in Brisbane tomorrow for the first day of pre-season training.
"From what I saw, Serie B looked a decent standard and I think I could definitely make an impact in that league," he says. "The Dutch first division would be a good stepping stone. Maybe not one of the top teams but a mid- or lower-table side. The same in Germany. I would love to move over there but it's a matter of making sure I do everything right. If I stay in Brisbane another year or two, it will help improve my game, and if I do well there, I'll end up where I want to be."
The Courier-Mail last month revealed Danning was joining the Roar, with the former Sydney FC striker finally putting pen to paper on a two-year deal and training with his new teammates yesterday for the first time.
Sick of warming the bench at Sydney FC, the 20-year-old former child prodigy has been heartened by the way former Wellington Phoenix forward Barbarouses flourished after being given a chance by Postecoglou.
Barbarouses, who struggled for game time in Wellington, scored 12 goals for Brisbane in the Roar's championship-winning season to cement himself among the A-League's most dangerous attacking weapons.
"It has shown that what you have to do is prove to Ange that you want to be here, prove to him that you want to work hard week in, week out and he'll give you an opportunity," Danning said.

But there's a lot of money in Russian football now, and if he can manage to get himself on the radar of the bigger Russian clubs would be a good thing for both him and NZ football.

Today, "Alania" entered into an agreement with New Zealand national team striker Kosta Barbarouses.
The contract is for three years, extendable for another two. The last 21 years the club has been champion Barbarouses top division of Australia "Brisbane Roar", in 33 appearances for which he scored 12 goals.
It is interesting that on the eve of Barbarouses, Greek by origin, was the guest of honor of the Greek society "Prometheus" in Vladikavkaz. Newbie red and yellow made a warm welcome and wished me luck in the games for a new team

They are in the Europa 3rd qualifying round though, so could get in the shop window that way if he can break into the side.
