Tottenham thread
Hopefully he's just taking the piss.
Anyhow, more dead wood is being shown the door with announcement that Hutton and Jenas off to Villa.
What's the difference between Spurs fans and puppies? After a couple of weeks, puppies will quit whining...
Feck, I've never seen such a bunch of ungrateful, sackless, glory-hounds. Personally, I don't see how this transfer window could be seen as anything but a smashing success. At the beginning of the summer, our avowed goals were:
1. retain Modric
2. add a world class striker
3. add a defensive/holding midfielder (esp. after Sandros injury)
4. upgrade at CB if possible
5. upgrade at GK if possible
Ok, let's review. At the end of the window, WE HAVE MODRIC!!, a new GK (for free), a striker who scored 2 at WHL while knocking us out of the CL for Real Madrid (with someone else paying half his wages), the last year's PL POY at midfield (5m) and a who's who of mediocrity on the way out (Keane, Crouch, Palacios, Hutton, Bentley and Jenas). Let me repeat that. Keane. Crouch. Bentley. And Jenas. Are no longer with us. I feel like running through the streets crying. I'm not sure I was this happy since my wedding day (take that however you like...) Yeah, we got off to a rocky start this year. Did anyone catch how the Arse are doing? How about Chelsea? They haven't looked world beaters, and that's against the league dross, not exactly the hydra from Manchester that laid us to waste. So, in order for this season to be a success, all we have to do is compete with the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal with essentially the same squad that got us into the CL quarterfinals, minus a bunch of deadweight and with the addition of a top quality striker and midfielder. You bunch of moaners (you know who you are) ought to be ashamed of yourselves. Youre not fit to sniff Levy's jock. Sorry for the rant spooky, but I can only take so much. Come on you f**king Spurs!

Flav, Spooky, tehTrunk, Ricky and Chicago Dan all present and discussing Joey Barton and Emmanuel Adebayor as potential transfer signings and pushing them head first through the 'What If?' shredder of disdain. The team also look towards the new up and coming season (are we up for another top 4 fight?).
We've got also got Neil the cabbie - the dbut of one of many features we have lined up. Got some email listener feedback/questions too. Also Ricky implodes and undeniably looks set to win 'Pr*ck of the Week' before a single vote has been cast.

On the minus side, how am I going to sleep and function at work tomorrow now?
Great way to start off an increased broadband allowance.

Adebayor must be good, he's even reminded Defoe how to score!!
And Parker just steadies the ship, makes simple passes.
The ill-discipline from Liverpool was incredible to watch (funny too)...
Great result.
Actually the whole team played well. No one had a bad game, Even Niko in the first half was a bit of a playmaker.
Loving Kyle Walker at RB and BAE had a blinder. Modric has started on his road to redemption - hopefully his "head has come right" now and he plays a pivotal role in the push for a CL spot that he desperately wants.
Last bit re the CC game against Stoke is pretty encouraging: Redknapp is set to make a host of changes for the game on Tuesday with Heurelho Gomes, William Gallas, Vedran Corluka, Sbastien Bassong, Rafael van der Vaart and Roman Pavlyuchenko all set to start against Stoke, who could field three recently departed Spurs players in Woodgate, Wilson Palacios and Peter Crouch.
That's a pretty impressive lot of back-ups.
