Google it, there's bound to be someone local who does mods/repairs. Only problem is Sony may refuse to fix it if you go down that route.

Found a place that will do it for $130 might try that out

Been having some Fifa withdrawls as i was away for work for the last month and half.

But I'm starting to get a hang of playing at World Class difficulty (Manager/player mode in the Bundesliga controlling VFL Bochum who I took to promotion). Defence is fine but I still don't know how to be effective in attack and my shot rates are really low (1-2 on goal per game).

Also another awesome player to keep an eye out for is Gohi Bi. He's the regenerated version of Drogba (Chelsea) and is rated high 70's and is only 18/19 years old. More importantly is already an excellent finisher, strong and is a machine at scoring with headers.

We'll worth the 18-19mil (dollars not pounds) I invested in him and so long as you play him often he definately grows at +1/2 every year.Crockett2011-07-18 19:06:36

I'm a mad Fifa geek, so here's an update.

Finished my 5th season as VFL Bochum Player/Manager.

Placed 4th in the League but luckily won the UCL first time ever (saved me from being fired).

Found a new trick. All retired players become regenerated in the game. I always scout out young players at the beginning of a new season, if they are quite well rated (16-18yo between 70-80), then its worth looking at which club they're from, their nationality and their position then you can easily figure out who that regenerated player is.

For example I just signed a young player (18yo rated 77) whose name is Rodrigo dos Santos, Brazil, LF/CAM and has a pony tail hairstyle. Its obviously Ronaldiniho!

So the trick is, buy top players 2-3 years before they retire. Depending on how good the player is, you may still pay a premium, but some players you can get for a knocked down transfer price. Be expected to still play top wages to get them. They are still good enough to at least play a big role off the bench if not start (bonus to doing this). Then when they retire in your team, they are automatically regenerated and appear in your squad under their regen name the next season.

Good bit of business if you ask me. However they often don't sign because they're too loyal to their club or ready to retire the following year.


I was going to sell a lot of my older players who are now on the downward slope, but now I'm gonna keep them and use them again!


3rd in the league after 4 games and really happy with the squad now. Starting lineup averages FW80 MID81 DEF80 and a bench that hold its own.

I finally connected my ps3 to my modem and hit download squads and have found there are bugger all changes from out of the box.

Squads won't get updated again for Fifa 11. they only do an update after the january transfer window.

Yeah, it's a bit lack luster on EAs behalf, they proabbly go strait into making fifa 13 after they release this, they may even be planning it now. Guess thats what sport games have become?

Funnily enough I wondered after posting that if there would be anymore updates with Fifa 12 around the corner but there was a small amount of hope EA would update again.

I've heard that yet again EA have concentrate on cutesy moves rather than fix on going AI problems.

I know FIFA 12 is due out like next week and all that, but I bought myself a PS3 a few weeks back and just got FIFA on Friday, does anyone else have problems playing online? Every time I try I get told my connection to the other player was lost.

I was having that problem (or something very similar) and I found somewhere that it said To delete your saved data. So I moved mine to s USB Flash drive then deleted it off my ps3 and voila all the online games were connecting.
