Hopefully it's a purging, Newcastle-style relegation, not a Leeds-esque descent into the depths.
Barton wasn't much last night again either.
It is now time to see if the Venky's really want to own a football club, or if they will sell players & pocket the parachute money to get back what they paid for the club.
Burgess, Philby, even Bond, have nothing on you Steve. Clinical. Hang on in there, we have a new assignment. Bwah-ha-ha-ha

Steve Kean described it as an 'exciting time' for the club.
Damn these new smileys are terrible.

Steve must have been misquoted. Surely, what he meant to say it was an "exiting time" for the club.
Exciting times indeed though for followers of the old school clubs of Lancashire. With Susan Coyle's lot going down as well (Yeeeeessss!), there's going to be a few feisty moments in that neck of the woods next season.
It's been a magic week. An absolute schadenfreudfest.
Haven't seen it confirmed but I was told by a mate in the UK, that Man City winning the league cost us a 2 mil add-on on the Phil Jones transfer to United.
Another hapless performance. This time MK Dons manage to put away their chances, something the Championship teams we have faced haven't done so far.
Watching Nelsen against Chelski this weekend really made me miss seeing him in a Rover's shirt. We could use his experience and skill because we can't defend for toffee atm. Scoring goals wasn't our problem last year, it was that we needed to score 3 to win because of the defence.
Also sounds like N'Zonzi had a good game for Stoke. Kean really has dismantled a pretty decent Rover's team, and replaced it with generally poor replacements.
Another win this morning. Reading the Rover's forums, it sounds like it was another completely undeserved win. BBC has us at 39% possession at home, against a Barnsley team that had lost their last 4 away games.
If we had a decent manager, we would get promotion. But eventually Kean's luck will run out and we will finish outside the play off spots.
Well that's only about a year and a half overdue!
I'm guessing its that final figure that made the Venky's finally take notice of the fans.
No one would be keen on those numbers
Henning Berg appointed as manager, will be interesting to see how he goes.

I'm sure the owners have learned their lesson now though
Massive game kicking off soon.
Late equaliser by Burnley to draw the derby. Any other game that would be a disappointment, but making sure we didn't lose was the most important aspect.
Berg sacked after 57 days, with little or no fan pressure. Venkys don't have a clue what they are doing.
