Perhaps Terry and his boys could come to some arrangement with the stadium. They appear to be effectively used by Victory supporters' clubs and the team would benefit from more noise. Not that I think the Fever Zone isn't loud enough but people sitting further down the stadium could use a bit of coordinating and encouragement...
Its hard to argue with that - its a pretty awesome combination - everyone should watch this clip before shooting the idea down. Need some good leaders though.
Use a karaoke style presentation on the big screen. Given
anything interesting is blanked out we might as well use it for
something. It would be good to actually understand what the
Lager Zone is chanting.
I and others have said in previous posts that we felt the YF was the most coordinated we have ever been at the Perth game.
Why might that be??? - one reason is probably that the drums weren't f'in up the start of every chant - so people could hear the chant early and get stuck in behind it!!
If you like drums go and put some flowers on Bruno Lawrence's grave, if you like a football crowd that lifts the players (do they applaud the drums - no they don't - they applaud the singing fans!) and intimidates the opposition forget all about percussion and join in with the YF chants!!!
funny, even with the megaphone the guy had to ask the question heaps of times and even then he didn't get a 'sensible' answer
Has anyone thought of bringing a megaphone into the game to lead
some of the chants? It would make it a hell of alot easier to start
the chants up.
Yes is winning so far, anyone going to do it on the 21st?
What so the stewards can confiscate it.They got all excited when
they saw one on sunday. They will start salivating if they actually
see some one use one.Its a no from me.

I voted yes, and here's why:
Great coordination can be achieved with a megaphone. It's
worth trying to get an arrangement with the stadium if this can be
the result.
I agree PS ,great coordination ,great spectacle and very
indimidating for the visitors too
just make sure you dont have a muppet controlling the bloody thing
cos sh*t that siren can get tedious if placed in the wrong
hands.... i'm looking at you Van Hattum luggsy062007-10-05 14:08:12

some one had one last week in the row behind me, but they
didnt use it. Its definatly a good idea to have one to help
lead the chants. I think one problem with the chants is the
"leaders" are too far away to hear some times so we get off to a
bad start. Mr twig2007-10-06 16:50:05
