Maybe well give Sir Alex a call...

And Sir Alex will laugh and hang up.

Then ill turn up to his house and stab him in the face.

Good to see we've bagged a new keeper - Lehmann is clearly past it.

Personally I think we are missing a quality winger that contributes 15 goals a season. Further strike power should come as the younger guys up front/mid mature.

In terms of the defence, I think the players are there but some coaching (especially how to defend set pieces/crosses) is essential. Gallas has been a let down but hopefully he'll come right.

TBH I don't think there is too much wrong with what we've got. A couple of key additions and we'll be right. Cesc just gets better and better. Roll on next season.

Eboue and Clichy are starting to contribute more to the goal tally in terms of crosses etc. They're only going to get better.

I agree that we don't need to make to many changes for next year in terms of personnel. we have pretty much everyone we need.

Maybe another striker when Baptista heads back to real.

I hope Gallas threatens to score an own goal against you guys too - I'm glad we got Cole after the way Gallas behaved.  He is sure to be a disrupting factor in your defence and I believe he really wanted to go back to France or to Spain - not across London!

Coxey: When has Gallas been stupid for Arsenal this season? I think its the air about SW6 that makes people all stupid ;)

Reyes should stay with us.

Arsenal need a different type of midfielder, a more physical battling AM; Hleb and Rosicky are too similar.

Also need a clinical striker, IMO.

Can't name a specific incident of his stupidity and admire him as a player - just not as a person.  He is a temperamental prima donna who when things aren't going right he's quick to blame everyone else...

He also has a tendency to be "unavailable through injury" quite often which is not a good ingredient when you're trying to form a strong defensive bond....

Ahhh the air in SW6.....almost as smoggy as the rest of London - just a little more expensive tasting!!!

Actually, i take that back. After reading Gallas's recent rantings I agree with you. He sounds like a complete t**ser.

See The Sun newspaper website.
You can Keep both Cole and Gallas.

The more I think about it, the more I hope we sign Franck Ribry and play him on the wing.

As ugly as he is, his football is beautiful. He would be a great addition to the team.

Agreed.

I'm not too sure about Hleb. He's had his moments but not sure if he should stay.

What about Ljundberg if Ribery is signed? He's got that aggresiveness that we need in the midfield.

if ribery plays like he did in the world cup, then yeah arsenal would be very lucky to have him. especially since they need all the luck in the world to take out the premiership. with competition from super clubs like man utd...

Ribery would be an awesome signing for the gunners and a great addition to the premier league.  I'm sure it would be the end for Ljungberg.

Does anyone know how Franks face got so mashed up - a car accident when he was a kid I seem to recall?

Yeah Franck was in a car accident when he was 2.

Here is an excellent review of the Arsenal season by Arseblogger. I think he's got it pretty much bang on.
