Nope, not me, but there are plenty of us about these day... and yes, a Tractor Boy (well after NZ football and the Phoenix though).
As predicted by me a few months ago with powers of prophecy that
would shame Mother Shipton and Nostradamus,(see 'better than the
sack race' thread), Glenn Roeder now has the job
of leading Norwich out of the relegation zone.
ForteanTimes2007-10-31 11:27:43
During his interview Glenn stated: "I like a
challenge and I am ready for it". and
"I've been in this sort of position before and always managed
to turn it around".
Turn it around!!!???
His time at Newcastle could be classed as ok, but as for
turning around clubs in a relegation dog fight hmmmmm:
Glenn Roeder - the man who "turned around" Watford by steering
them into the relegation zone in 1996 getting sacked and Watford
getting relegated anyway.
Or Gillingham 93 - narrowly avoided getting relegated under
Roeder.
Or assistant at Burnley where he and Chris Waddle managed to
push Burnley into the relegation zone 97-98 again narrowly avoiding
relegation.
And of course West Ham 2003 even with Brooking taking over
West Ham dropped out of the premiership and Roeder was sacked
shortly afterwords.
How do you confuse "turn it around" with "screwing it
up"?

You a Tractor boy then?
Oh yeah that was some pretty fast post deletion today even if
I thought my Serbia Superliga was quite a witty response. I'm
assuming it was you that deleted that post about Phoenix defense
being likened to a form of....?
Roeder has the ability to turn it around 360 degrees!
Affectionately known by Burnley fans as "the Sinister One",
Norwich could well be celebrating an extended Halloween!
