Sure you haven't selected the Premium membership Fink? That adds the $30 club membership to your pass.
Football United - July 2014 West Ham and Newcastle visit
Ok so a few things:
- Can we buy tickets to the game without renewing out membership today?
- How much are the tickets? It said from $35 for members but lowest I see is $65 for adults
- Can we buy tickets for friends/family who aren't members, at members prices?
- Will we get the same seats that we normally sit in?

- Can we buy tickets for friends/family who aren't members, at members prices? Yes
- Will we get the same seats that we normally sit in? You'll definitely be in your seat in the Fever Zone if you purchase the same number of tickets to the game as you have memberships (for most people this will be 1, unless you buy tickets for others with your account, in which case you'll be shifted to best available seats in the Zone).
Third point isn't correct. More than likely you'll get in the zone. Just a question of where.
Ticketek correct phone number is 04 384 2457.
All members will have received an email at midday today with new login credentials in it. Please use these to log in.
If your membership is in YF area, your Football United tickets will be in YF area. These are at both Auckland and Wellington in Silver section. You'll be allocated your membership seat if you purchase the same number of tickets as your membership, but if you choose tickets outside your membership category or purchase more than your actual number of seats in membership, these tickets will be issued as best available in your chosen category.

- Can we buy tickets for friends/family who aren't members, at members prices? Yes, but you'll be shifted out of the Fever Zone in order for them to allocate enough tickets for your order
- Will we get the same seats that we normally sit in? Possibly, you'll definitely be in the Fever Zone if you purchase the same number of tickets to the game as you have memberships (for most people this will be 1, unless you buy tickets for others with your account).
Hoping this whole hing can be sorted out before tickets go on sale to public, bit shambolic at the moment
Loving it! Not a proper off-season without ticketing shambles.

It's still left to chance a bit though. Plus those renewing who don't know silver is feverzone may end up buying bronze. Which is a bit odd. Hoping they can add an official fever zone like we do usually with nix games, before public sales. And perhaps give members the option to move into fever zone if they have bought extra silver tickets and ended up outside of fever zone by bad luck.
RE: Point # 1. This looks like I can
Apparently the reallocation (if needed) has to be done manually. Both ticketed and Phoenix recognise the difference so it shouldn't be too many issues. Season passes + add on wouldn't see out the fever zone so it should be a matter of where in the zone you are.
We have a whole stand in eden park (capacity of 1,500) so shouldn't be any issues.

If you ring up wanting extra tickets, can you ask to be put in the fever zone?
How does fever zone work with Auckland since obviously we don't have regular seats there?

RE: Point # 1. This looks like I can
Somewhere earlier it was stated (maybe from thunderstix?) that if you're found to have purchased tickets without renewing your membership, your tickets will be cancelled. The way I read that is that the ticketek system wouldn't stop you from making the purchase, but someone will go through later and double check everyone's tickets. So if you're buying those without intending to renew you might be taking a bit of a risk.
Sounds promising. As I said, hopeful it will be sorted. Just wasn't given a whole lot of confidence by earlier responses from the club and ticketek.
1500 is quite large, and doubt all who buy tickets there will be in to active support (especially if it is only labelled as silver). But hopefully they are grouping member presales into the same area of that stand so we can at least be grouped together and stand up?
Still a lot of work to be done to sort it.
But excited about the games nonetheless.

Are we meant to get free tickets to all locations as foundation members? Or just Wellington?

In Auckland there is a new and improved Fever Zone at the end behind the goals.
Yes, new Fever Zone in Auckland is at the end of ground where the scarf was in February. Bays 201-204 and 401, 402.
Yes, you can ask for extra tickets in the FZ. You won't be shifted out of the Fever Zone in order for them to allocate enough tickets, you'll be given best available in that area. In Auckland, it'll be best available in FZ.
We're hoping it's sorted too! It's mainly due to it being linked to membership sales currently.
Sorry this has probably been asked but I'm still a little confused - to get the discounted tickets do you just need to be a season ticket holder, or do you need to pay the additional cost to become a club member? I've always been confused by the distinction as the use of terminology doesn't seem very consistent.

Any one found the key to getting Dunedin tickets online from Ticket Direct.

Cheers. Guess I'll have a few $$ owed to me after today
Do you guys mind if I use you as a proxy / venting space to vent my rage at Ticketek's stupidity? Now that I've bought 2 tickets that are fucking worthless? FUUUUUUUUUUUUCCKKKKK. Thanks.
I can guarantee that if I now go and renew my membership, my tickets will still be cancelled.

Dude, relax. Ticketek are pretty useless sometimes but they're not actually out to get you. I think if you explain the situation someone will be able to sort something out. They might fuck it up three or four times first, but they'll get there eventually. Just chill.

I'm trying to chill but I'm too busy marvelling about how completely confusing the situation is. I buy what I thought was a ticket, having logged in using my membership, and apparently I have got tickets, but I really don't, and also I'm not really a member, but if I do, I have tickets, but I might not have these particular tickets, but then again I might, and aaaaaarrr.....
Way to take something awesome and turn it to a big pile of shit, ticketek.
PS appreciate the help on this forum, it's just absolutely ratshit that basically YF has to wipe ticketek's heinie because they can't find their own heinie with two hands and a map..
I reckon Domey had the sign off months ago, he's just been attempting to explain how it all works to Ticketek for sometime...
We need a new thread for the people that want to talk about how bloody awesome this is, rather than just moan about how confusing it is to buy some tickets on the day of the announcement (and two weeks before general public sales).

It is awesome true. But really, you should announce things like "tickets for WPX members" when your system for selling tickets to WPX members is sorted out. The awesomeness will shine through eventually but really, this shit is so easily avoidable.

What sucks about this is the people that don't have the cash to pay for their season tickets right now, they will have to use the payment options.
To add to confusion: I live in Aucks so I usually buy a bench-warmer membership because there's no point buying season tix. Am I a member? I thought I was.
edit: to answer my own question:

Perhaps there's an argument for deleting my whines and starting a new thread entitled
"How to get Football United tickets + whine here about ticketing chaos"??

So what is the best process to buy tickets?
If you're a Wellington Phoenix Season Ticket holder, you should have received a renewal email at midday today with details. If not, you can purchase a new membership from 12 May. We'll do a YF pre-sale for non-members on 16 May. Public sale is 19 May.

Sure you haven't selected the Premium membership Fink? That adds the $30 club membership to your pass.
When I log in to the Ticketek website the only option to renew is to renew my foundation membership. When I choose that, the website says (my emphasis):
"The Foundation Season Ticket recognises those members who have been a member every season since 2007/08. This category is for renewal only as only those eligible are able to apply.
New for 2014/15, the Premium Club Membership is a Season Ticket + Club Membership in one. The
Club’s most inclusive membership package keeps you in your seat and up
to date with all the behind the scenes action from the Club throughout
the season. (All Foundation members will automatically receive this
upgrade)."
I assume the automatic upgrade is meant to be free. Otherwise it'd be an automatic obligation to pay an extra $30 to renew a foundation membership.
In the email it said if your a foundation memebr once you had renewed your membership your would be able to opt in for a complimentary ticket for football united...where is this I can't see any option to opt in?
me neither
Needed a ballane presale before the members presale.
(Just kidding, please don't write another essay in response)

Not quite true. I am a member, but not a season ticket holder, and I also got the renewal email. /pedant off
