Will go back and update the last round latter however the GF like wow..

 I have copied it from 442.. http://au.fourfourtwo.com/forums/default.aspx?g=posts&t=86368&p=49

Scroll down until you see a poster called WC20182022 as the post has a number of links

But two key figures from it …. Fox’s peaked @ 524, 000 a total of 772, 000 watched the game for at least five minutes on SBS or taking the peaks 1,296, 000 … like wow …

The average for both is Fox 334 K SBS 358 K … 692 K

Read what you want but a peak audience of 1, 296, 000 or close to 1.3 million is a number you would have been placed in jail for if you had said it a few years ago ..

To the 442 post…

“”"Sunday’s match at Suncorp Stadium was the most-watched A-League game on Fox Sports ever.

An average audience of 334,000 tuned into Fox Sports 2 to watch the game live, with numbers peaking at 524,000 in the final minute of extra time, surpassing last year’s decider, which attracted 308,000 viewers.

The final also delivered SBS 2 its biggest audience since the relaunch of the channel 13 months ago.

An average combined metro and regional audience of 358,000 watched the game on SBS 2 via a delayed coverage.

It was the first time an A-League grand final had been shown on free-to-air television.

Overall, 772,000 watched SBS 2’s coverage based on “five-minute consecutive reach viewing”.

“It has always been our mission to grow the game and with the A-League grand final broadcast on free-to-air TV for the first time, the impact has been significant,” SBS head of sport Ken Shipp said.

BRISBANE Roar’s epic 2-1 A-League grand final win over Western Sydney Wanderers has delivered record ratings for Fox Sports and SBS 2.

Now here's a TV audience figure to consider: 170,000,000. Expected international viewing audience for next year's Under-20 World Cup (see www.stuff.co.nz - Wynton brings Cup to Waitangi). Hope Sky/Fox/TVNZ/Sommet do justice. Not to mention our commentary team.

The ADP effect:

not really fair for us (it was the first game of the season and the crowd's always bigger for that, but he probably made some difference). But interesting nonetheless....
