Ok, so got the pass and it's still mud on my crappy lappy... can someone clarify it'll be sweet via Apple TV (and my iPad mini) cos if so I'll go buy one.

Like many I simply want to watch it easily on my 55" HDTV without connecting cables n stuff if possible.

I watch it full screen on my 10" tablet from Samsung - Tab3 and it looks great.

If by using Apple TV you mean Airplay, I wouldn't. I have an Apple TV and use Airplay a bit and it's pretty shitty unless you have a kick ass router. Just use an HDMI cable.

you can get an HDMI adapter for iPad. Would be better I reckon.

Got the Apple TV and it looks ok... Only takes up about 3/4 of the screen but on the telly it beats my laptop or ipad. If the 4:30am trial goes ok that'll do me!

Surge go into the settings on the Apple TV and then audio & video and check that the tv resolution is set to auto. And also see if "adjust for airplay overscan" is on, if it is on turn it off and then test it out again

Got a 6 week free trial for Quicklfix so just tried it out this afternoon and watched a movie through the PS4 app and it was absolutely perfect. A playstation app for PLP cannot come soon enough for me so I hope discussions with Sony are successful.

Anyone else having problems with the magazine features? Last year with the games I had mostly no problems with HD and alland the quality was really good, but playing these the video is quite laggy...or at least the audio is fine, but the picture is a bit stop start...

Which browser are you using? They are having some issues with Chrome apparently so suggest Firefox for now.

Having looked into it and it appears a bunch of people around the world are having streaming issues in Chrome with similar apps. Funnily enough NFL GamePass is working fine...

thanks for the chrome vs firefox heads-up - it runs well for me on firefox.  it'd be much easier to be able to watch through the PS4 though...

are you using chrome? Chrome is jittery for whatever reason at the moment. Use Firefox instead.

Or try double clicking the pause button.

I'm using the Samsung TV app, and we've also been streaming it on various browsers (incl Chrome) over the house's unremarkable wifi. And it's been great.

My only criticism so far is that it's about a minute behind live. So if you're sitting on the Twitters like I do, you risk finding out about game events before you see them.

Overall though, superior to Sky in many respects. Being able to watch any game you want whenever you want it a huge step up on Sky's limited offering. And I'd rather give my money to anyone but Sky.

I have to say I have only watched the Arsenal Game, but very impressed. I did have it a bit stuttery when I put a chrome window onto the TV, but Firefox was much better. Is fine on chrome on my laptop or PC, just an issue on the TV (Weird, thought it might be a refresh rate thing, but nope)

Smithy - With the delay I found it seemed to get behind after a small while, like it couldn't quite keep up, though I never saw stutter or slowness of the picture, so to begin with I was live, but after a while if I clicked the LIVE button I jumped forward about 40-50s and was live again.

Loving it, have to say being able to watch any game, live or on demand is a huge improvement for me, just wish I could use multiple devices in one house at the same time. Then I can fullscreen watch several at the same time, is a bit of a pain only being able to fullscreen 1 game at a time. Going to give it a go later with OnDemand and see if I can use the same browser on PC connected to TV and run two windows on there.

HDMI cable is bust so had to watch on laptop only last night. Zero stutter, played all the way through nicely, but to be honest I didn't think the picture looked that great, even though I watched the entire game at 4500... I'm sure it was clearer last season

ajc28, where did you go on your laptop to change the settings so that it only displayed picture on the tv, and not the laptop as well? Just for when I get a new HDMI cable...

Depending on your laptop there's usually a function and button combination to flick through in order to change between laptop + screen, laptop only, screen only.  On my Toshiba its function F5, however look on yours for a button that looks like a screen and a laptop.

You should also be able to right click on your desktop and go to graphic properties and switch between monitors.

Just subscribed a few minutes ago, really didn't want to but was impressed with the quality of picture when watching the Arsenal game this morning on the free 7 day pass.

Got it for $149 with that code and have to say if they were enforcing the the full $200, probably wouldn't have done it, as our expendable money is really tight.

Sky is not going anywhere in this house with two little ones that love the cartoon channels and the wife and I liking My Sky.

Thanks for the discount code PLP if you are reading this!

really hopeless.

Tried a different hdml cable which was slightly better quality

Read JN's advice and downloaded Mozilla , which then will not access the PressPass website

Found a way to get into site via Mozilla, which then will not play footage

Have to download more software to access the footage, which laptop then says is not there

It seems to be working now, but not Sky quality.

So $950.00 for a product which is all extra cost for an inferior standard.

Re-upped the pass this season after getting it free last season, as a uni student who doesn't have SKY it's fantastic - wake up whenever you want and watch whatever game you want - for me the former ability is the best part - if you support a club who don't/didn't make many appearances on SKY, there's no need to get up at crazy hours to watch a stream, very convenient.

Only issue today was watching on Chrome before after the game seeing the memo, worked like a charm on other browsers. Don't think it's necessarily a PLP-specific issue either as NBA League Pass was struggling at times with it too.

Approve of the pricing too, pretty fair, I understand why people who own SKY and maybe support one of the big clubs wouldn't be keen on the product but like some people prior, I'm now in a boat where I can watch my sports on other platforms for a cheaper overall price, and hopefully that can become a reality for more people as time progresses.

Watched the start of the Man United game last night before bed and it looked pretty bad - from speaking to others who watched that game it sounds like it was bad for most people so there must have been some issues with that game for some reason.

But watched the Arsenal game when I got up this morning (as I used to do with Sky rather than get up live in the middle of the night) and have to say despite my negativity over the last few weeks I was pretty happy. Used Firefox connected to TV with HDMI, hardware acceleration unticked and display set to projector only. Was perfect on the laptop and a lot better than I remember from last season on the TV. Not quite perfect as it was still slightly shaky at times and always had a web stream feel about it rather than an HD TV broadcast but it didn't judder anything like last season which was headache inducing and almost un-watchable.

I'm happy enough with it to subscribe rather than waiting for the delayed Arsenal TV on Sky. Not quite as a good quality as Sky but I guess it's the best it's going be watching it this way until there's an app for my equipment. Hoping a playstation app happens at some point.

On Windows 7 you press the windows button + p. Then you can choose between computer only, duplicate (both screens), extend (2 screens side by side), project only. Projector only makes it only display on the TV which seems to be slightly better as I assume the laptop doesn't have to work as hard as when it's displaying on both screens.

Right click on the video and choose settings, then you can tick/untick it. Same as for Firefox.

Watched the utd game after watching the rugby last night. Was watching on a 10 inch galaxy tab and the game streamed fine thru the plp app. Was a bit weird at the start as the sound really echoed but came right after a minute. That's with pretty crap wifi too. No jerking or pixelating at all. Was impressed. Thought for any game this would be the one with issues

15 seconds on the online chat with a tech guy at PLP and it was sorted. He got me to change two settings in the flash player and over the weekend it was running awesomely in HD...only problem is not being completely antisocial now...

edit with Chrome too. Yeh he got me to uncheck that hardware acceleration thing and to allow flash to store more in the cache or something...

hope PL backpass is back in some form too- that was really good last year.
