Its more asround the fact that we are taking a big-ish group up from out of welly, and that takes quite a bit of organising, we also want to sit in a designated fan type area, We find out that tickets are on sale today yesterday afternoon. hardly gives us time to sort stuff does it, so what will end up happneing is we will be strewen across several ailes. also there is a tiny fever/fan zone and whats say you wait to get that but then miss out on friday, and end up sitting in some useless area with the casual fans cos all the decent tickets are gone.

So for the communication, why not give us a heads up a few weeksn in advance and make them avalible for all at the same time. There is 6 pages of ppl asking wtf is going on so im not alone.

thsi being the most important game for NZ football in 27 years, it will be full of football fans and it will be our duty to make the whole stadium in terms of atmosphere like the white noise / yf zone.

No longer pre-sale seats available if you want 2 or more together. That was quick! Got my juices flowing that it sold so quickly!!!!
I wanted 12

Is the "Zone" an offical term that Tiketek would use or just a Fever nickname?

When I was on the phone to Ticketek today trying to buy tickets in the White Noise/Fever Zone, they knew what I was talking about.

Nope. Ring back when the general sale starts next week.

As Hard News has mentioned, Friday is for the Yellow Fever link to Ticketek on-line sales. Whether you can short-cut that by telephoning on Friday, I don't know - News might. (I suspect Friday will be on-line sales only.)

Wow, I would like to think that's a good sign, but I assume they will ahve probably only put aside a certain amount for pre-sale. That's fairly disappointing that you could'nt get a block that large, I'm hoping to get about 20 for the White Noise section

Doesn't bode to well judging by your experience

Yes. Pre sale isn't the bulk but it is a large amount and you can get the best seats. The general public will need to be quick as well

Web site sales are limited to 8. Not sure if you can get more at once over the counter but assume so

Pre-sales through Ticketek are usually accompanied with a note that says it's just a cross section of tickets in various areas of the venue and not a way of getting the best seats. It's just an advance opportunity to buy tickets in advance of the public sale. So what it normally means is that there is still a big chunk of tickets, of all qualities left for the general sale.

I didn't notice that usual note being present on this one, but I don't really see it as anything more than background noise as it's always there.

So I wouldn't worry if I was you. You should be fine to get your seats. Our zone is not classifed as "best seats" either is it? The problem you may have is that you not only want 20 seats, but you want them in a specific zone.

By the way, based on what the Ticketek people said about getting tickets for the zone, I suspect that the whole zone has been held back from pre-sales? Otherwise, the automatic assignment that the web tool does will have inflicted us on some poor unsuspecting pre-sale purchaser with no notice! Hence, we should have a free run on Friday if the link is up.

Ticketek are working on a solution for the no more than 8 website restriction, we'll keep you posted on how that goes.

Erm, personally I wouldn't mind seeing the restriction stay.... give those of us who want a more modest allocation a chance to buy before someone takes them all! SiNZ2009-08-18 16:38:32

Set your alarm early on Friday

Apparently they have had some groups calling for (non-Zone) bookings of up to sixty already.

Got tickets and paid by Amex (maybe cause I already signed up to be informed of the presale I didn't have to pay by Visa?).  Anyway somehow managed to select 2 children tickets instead of 2 adults .  Emailed ticketek to see if I could change them said they don't have to and its not there policy but in this case I can take them done to the MFC office and they will change them.  But thinking who is going to check?  Won't be showing the ticket to anyone just be going through the turnstills, or do they make a different noise for child tickets?

We will open up the White Noise presale to Phone and Counter Bookings also.

So if they want to make a large booking they can either go in to a Ticketek agency or ring through to the Call Centre (0800 number not the Phoenix line).

They should quote White Noise or Yellow Fever to be able to purchase as we wont be allowing others to purchase in this zone. Same on sale date will apply.

Absolutely! We won't be in the "zone" but you'll be OK for "atmosphere" if you end up next to us.
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Well, Ticketek lines open 8:30 in the morning, and I assume their ticket offices do also.

So just a question of getting up early and getting the tickets :)

What time will the link be up on friday? And as long as you have a ticket in aisles 21/22 will you be able to stand anywhere in White Noise?
You know we belong together...

Sorry if this has been asked already, but are the White Noise tickets $39, and if so, where exactly are the $29 seats?

edit - ok have read back and first part has been answered - can anyone answer the 2nd question?

Behind the goals.... if you look from the pitch, it's to the right of Aisle 20 to the same place on the other side.  Check the Ticketek link off http://www.oneshotforglory.co.nz and it has a map.

Hmmm, decisions decisions.

I'd like to be in amongst it, but then I am not a Kiwi, but I DO want you guys to make it, particularly since my lot don't look like they will now!!

I shall have to think about this one! If it was just me I would go $39, but I'll be having to buy my (Kiwi) ladyfriend one as well!

Does anyone know how many tickets were sold in the pre-sale. I mean for them to sold out already must be a good sign. Even if there wasn't a hell of a lot of them.

I imagine it will be Fever Zone rules.  Sit anywhere in there, but if you are ask to move by someone who owns the seat you are in then move.

any update on the maximum of 8 tickets issue?  I'm after 9, and the best I can do at the moment is a block of 5 and then another block of 4 seats a few rows behind...would prefer everyone to be together since we're dragging most of them down from Auckland.

Yeah I looked last night and it said 'available' but there was nowhere to select the actual numbers of tickets??

This post should've quoted Teza's, sorry.

I just used the link off the "Waitlist" email - I can select the number of Adult/Child/Family tickets for "Waitlist Presale".  Or, if I go off the email that the Auckland Football Federation distributed to member clubs, I can select these, or "Football Club Presale" tickets.

I was on the waitlist but can't find the email  and haven't recieved any info about 'Football club' tickets from my club.

I'm sure I will be able to get some on Monday

As it's not crystal clear in the other thread... Can we buy less than 8 tickets over the counter tomorrow?

That would be one way of trying to get ticket sales up....
