Yeah finally got them now, in 22 instead of 21. If I have been charged twice they'll be trouble. Bring on the game!

I suggest you check because the 'error message' was what happened to me and a few thousand other AC/DC fans and I was indeed charged twice. Had to call them up and get refunded in the end.

The funny thing about the AC/DC website error was they didn't know who had deliberately placed duplicate orders and who had received the mix-up with the error message.

My wife bought a ticket for someone and then got another. They contacted her to ask whether she genuinely wanted two or whether she wanted a refund for the other.

If it is today tickets went on sale to the general public, then ticketek have cocked something up - I was going to have a look to see what aisle they were selling for gold & silver to get an idea of how many are gone, and you can't get any tickets in any category, despite it saying all three zones are available.

I want it to sell out and to do that they need to sell some bloody tickets. SORT IT OUT!!!  FFS.

Oh, cheers. All that blood pressure for nothing. Although the website doesn't mention anything about the sale date, that's I assumed they were already for sale (and sort of not available).

It's tomorrow - as News says.

However, assuming you have logged in to the My Ticketek Pre-Sale, you should still see tickets available. The only area that is not offering tickets anymore is the White Noise Zone. I can add tickets to my shopping basket and remove them for A Reserve and B Reserve.

The funny thing is that what you are describing is exactly what I see when I tried it at an office site - I figured the website was playing up but may be there's something else amiss.

Indeed - they e-mailed me asking the same thing, even though I had already e-mailed them to ask about the issue!

At least they didn't just assume all double-ups were errors, that would have been worse.

Still, while the original mistake was not good she appreciated their swift follow up when they became aware of the problem. With the exception of the Nix season ticket fiasco, I've found Ticketek okay and good at following up to rectify mistakes - unlike Ticketmaster whose strategy is to just hope you'll go away if they ignore your phone calls and emails!

PS I wonder if you'll get refunded twice. Ticketek did that for me on another issue, where I phoned them but they had already apparently initiated a refund anyway. (And when I eventually collected my tickets from the venue on the night of the performance, they had arranged a free drink for me at the bar.... I did well out of that mistake!)

Only one refund for me unfortunately!

I never thought I would say this but, all credit to Ticketek. After booking eight tickets last night in the fever/white noise zone, via the Internet, I was able to head into Ticketek today and add another four tickets in the same row right next to the original eight. Now that is what I call good service!

I talked to the woman at ticketek when I was getting my tickets and she said that alot of the area around the middle was sold, so it looks like people are snapping up tickets fast. hopefully it doesn't start dropping off and we get close to, if not, sold out

I think there will have been a surge in sales last week and this then it will ease back, and explode if/when we get a decent result there.

Good call, News. I'd think that a good result in the 1st leg would help with publicity for the game and see a hefty push in late ticket sales

Would love to know how many tickets have been have been sold so far.

Heard a add on Radio Sport, advertising it. But reckon TV and Newspaper adds are the way to go.

On a side note.  Got flight chch wgton return, 1 nite accomodation, and ticket for $200. Bargain!

Gidday Lads, Just purchased my ticket 5 mins ago, asked for best available and got Section 29-R Row V.... so would suggest sales are only average as I believe that puts me not too far from centre pitch. I booked airfare and accom from Auck about 6 weeks ago. We got ours all up $240 fares, hotel accom 1 km from stadium and tickets! Cheap as chips, get into it everyone!

Over five thousand sold so far....the first day sales were apparently about the same as the Beckham match.

They are barcoded and you scan the barcode at the turnstile to get in, so printing a few thousand wouldn't work. Nice idea though.

Come on New Zealand, let's sell this out. Would love to see more people on TV publicising the game.

I feel there will be a big surge in ticket sales after the away game when we show the public that we are a in a great chance of getting to the World Cup.
I bought my tickets the first day they were available on the internet ,the only fustrating thing was it took three goes before I was successful ,but the first two attempts I was assured that I had not been billed.

Flights and hotel booked. Flights on Jetstar, who I've never flown with before. From what I hear, they seem to be the aviation equivalent of Ticketek.

Just make sure that you get to the airport early,do not have a big cabin bag( they will not allow it into the cabin)and if you have chosen a cheap flight itmay not include check in baggage , they will ping you for an extra charge.

Do not treat the 'please check in half an hour before the flight' lightly get there an hour before if you want to get on the plane as they have shut off check in bang on that half hour. I haven't flown with them, just relaying some horror stories.

Had a laugh at someone at work whose friend booked them to Melbourne and just assumed from their advertising they must be cheaper.... I called up the Air NZ website and we established that said friend had just cost them extra dollars, not to mention jeopardising their weekend.
