Audio is terrible. Sounds like a connection is not in properly and it's coming out super scratchy. Hopefully it gets sorted.

We are dreadful today. How Pijnaker gets in over Tommy Smith or Even Tyler is astonishing.

You cant even be angry at them, Pijnaker is an irish league player and woud has never been good. The manager needs to be sacked, what's our strategy to get to the world cup when we cant score goals.

I like Elijah Just but he is so timid and needs to put on some muscle to be effective. Cacace and Waine were scrawny but they put some weight on and are more effective nowadays.

Totally agree. Our top 11 players would tottally match them, and take the game to this aussie lineup. But we still dont have a lot of depth. We are getting there....

Tough half. Don't think we've been horrible, but Aus definitely deserve the 1-0 lead. Fair reflection of the game. Didn't give away many chances but more as the half went on. Have we looked like scoring? Apart from a couple of half-chances, no.
Looking forward to seeing some fresh faces come on, Joey Champness, Niko Kirwan, Max Mata, Ben Waine could yet change this game. We're not out of this yet, but if it keeps going like it is, Aus will score for 2-0 and that will be that.

Biggest issue is that we really don't have a lot of other options, depth is a massive weakness for our top squad. As said above we have 4-5 players that are decent then a middle block of 4 who are ok, then the rest just making up the numbers. Compare that to Aussie who have 11+ quality players competing for spots. Population disparity of 5 million people to 25 million.

For a team that has been ass for a long time going forward, you'd think we'd have at least gotten better at free kicks, corners and crosses. Aus have done this as their attack also isn't the best.

Woud also looked good when I saw him in the Asia Cup competition too but he definitely needs to move somewhere he gets more game time because he could still develop into our number 1.

We are so toothless upfront that it doesn't matter how well our defenders play, the other team are under no pressure so can just do whatever they want.
