All Whites v China Nov 15th 12:25am SS1

I have to question this...wouldn't we be better served taking on a Concacaf side on this date. The schedule for the fourth round hasn't been released yet but they are unlikely to be playing on this date. Surely a match against Costa Rica or Panama who we haven't met before would be a better idea no? China meh

Would think we will get a very handsome match fee for playing them. Plus being a midweek game, most countries would want to play some one close to them.

It does put the Nix in another awkward spot, yet another Jets (18th) game disrupted by AW call ups. The players we that get called up for the AWs might as well just stay in Perth on the way back for the game on the 24th,

Hurray for early Birthday presents!

Excited for this, can we climb the Great Wall? I think we last drew with them 1-1 due to an own goal...? Ideally we would be versing one of the last remaining teams for WCQ in CONCACAF, but shit happens. Least we have a match and will most likely get it a good broadcast feed for it.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

If you beat* them, they don't do it again.
(At the very most, three occasions are sufficient I find)

*obviously not with a closed hand.  A massive big stick is more effective.

PS - Social Welfare/CYFS - please look up the phrase p!sstake first (there is no emoticon for this)

I think it would be good to have Leo the Bard Bertos with his free form skills up against the pacy Honduran Wilson Palacios and his traditional iambic pentameter style.
Of course everyone will be expecting a tired old limerick from Ricki, but he might pull a haiku out in the second half and surprise us all.

Quite likely that most of them have already arranged friendlies for the November window, this is actually quite late to be organising the match. I know USA are playing Russia and Panama is playing Spain during this window, and that's just off the top of my head.

There's nothing in SkyWatch about it, was likely printed well before it was announced though.

$30 for this place is a bargain (says the man who's never paid a cent). A bit like the bargain bin at The Warehouse, you know it'll be good for a wee while but it'll break sooner or later.
