Midfield control has been poor today. Woud has no control of his box, always on the back foot, whilst it was a good stop of the header from the corner he had no control of the ball cos he was going backwards, if he had stepped forward he catches that and there is no goal!
Don't know what this numpty commentator is on about a good save either.... Looked regulation, and he's just parried it straight into the path of their player...
Tough half. Been opened up a bit too easily and yes some indecisive goalkeeping not helped. Seem good going forward at times but at others Wood seems isolated. He'll go off early second half going off Bazeleys comments so interesting to see how we adapt and who comes on.

Cons: We've got to be less wasteful with our set pieces. We aren't going to get many opportunities to launch so need to make it count when we can. Our defence seems to be too slow in reacting to their counter attacks. The scarecrow we have plonked in the middle of the goal in lieu of an actual keeper.
Pros: Nobody has pulled up with any niggles which is a rare treat. McCowatt always seems to turn it up a notch whenever he puts the fern on. I'm not sure why but I always forget how much he's come on leaps and bounds since the move to Europe. Big future for him. We've managed to get a decent chunk of possession out of this. Hopefully we can work on our retention better in the second half and while the win is too far out of reach nab a goal to lift the spirits.
Bell looks slow at times and not great under pressure, Garbet gives 100% but there is no quality to his play. The speed and movement of the Greeks with their touch is all class, we simply lack the technical skills to match them…it could be 4 nil at half time.
First goal was pants - I think Woud should have got it, but it did look like Bindon did a turtle and could have got his head on it.
Some good possession but nothing really in the attacking third to get me excited, bar one good shot by Garbett I think... that been said with VAR I think we have 2 penalties go our way.

I think it probably shows that a few of our players are playing at a comparative low level to our counterparts. Poor form so not making it as a starter at your club and simply playing at a lower level. I say this because of the speed of reaction, especially when defending. Speed is one of the things you notice the most when playing up or down levels. Desire and effort sometimes are not quite enough.
I will put the boot back into Woud too, he definitely doesn’t belong at this level. He has had so many opportunities where he has not performed sufficiently well. If those, obviously, better keepers are not available for some reason, it is time to give someone else an opportunity in the squad at least.
Lucky enough to be at the game. The officials are acting as though VAR will correct their fudgeups, especially the linesmen.
Bell looks unfit and over weight. Garbett, Smith and Would all having poor games. Bindon is doing ok, especially off the ball but you probably can't see that on TV.
Libby standout but we keep wasting crosses with aimless balls in the air while Greece has kept it on the ground and been clinical.
In the warmups there was only Paulsen and Would present.
Baze has not got out of his seat and there seems to be more noise from the 4/5 kiwi fans here giving advice to the players then him. Even during the warm ups he was MIA while Poyet was involved.
