Obviously Spain have backed off with their 4 goal buffer... good to see some attacking effort in AW's game near the end of the half and defensive shape a little better.

The last ten minutes was much better possession wise and we actually got forward and had a couple shots.

Spains passing is so slick and fast heaps of one touch stuff and great off the ball running.

Elliott and Brown need to have more say in the game like against Italy, and Elliott needs to get his passing game sorted or give James a run.

Hopefull we keep going as we finished and keep the score semi respectable and maybe just maybe pinch a goal

Brockied] needed to be subbed, he just watched that fourth goal and let his man run in behiond him for an easy assist.

It's on FTA here in Oz. Craig Foster & Les Murray with the less than flattering half time comments. SBS tv will need the cleaners in for the second half to mop up Foster's jizz.

Mmmm . . . it's the initial possession of the ball we need to get.

But really they are whipping us in the wings. So our midfield line is either too far or too close to our defence line because of this. It needs to be at a more consistent range to help the lateral backs with the lateral midfield and it will be better for our counter attack if we get it right.

Also our lateral backs need were caught ball watching when their wings cut passed to their midfield alowing their wingers into the box free. If the lateral backs are facing the wingers from the side of the box, their body position must be facing out to the sideline more away from the six yard midline rather than goal midline so they can defend the box more. But this is where the lateral midfield are not sure of what to do as well.

We are letting them run through and then topping it of with some of the worst mistakes you could ever see. These guys are supposed to be professionals, this is embrasing from the defence.
