you're having a laugh. Xuan Loke vs Luis Diaz??Sancho
I've been out of the loop but this seems like a big wasted opportunity to get Callan Elliot and Xuan Loke a run against quality opposition. I wonder what more Billy T is gonna bring that we haven't seen before?
To be fair I think Elliot or Loke would probably offer more on attack than tuiloma

Is that really worse than having Tommy Smith in the squad given where he is playing know. Yes i know they play different positions just dont see any point in calling in Smith at this stage.
Not a bad effort. A few shots from us. Set piece delivery however hasn’t been flash. That really needs to be nailed if we are going to compete against teams of this quality.
Our best chance of a goal is Boxall, Surman or Billy T on the end of a quality set piece.
Colombia has been aweful fouls wise. A number of their players really should be on yellows. Some of the fouls have literally robbed us of goal scoring chances.
Colombia look average at the back so hopefully in the second half well stop playing the ball backwards (Singh, Garbett and Just) or to no one (Bell) and actually try shooting like Kosta did.

Garbett's been awful so far. Making poor decisions and not quick enough on his feet to deal with Colombian aggressors
I think he’s that kind of player. Does a couple of dozy things and then hits a killer shot or flick on.
Funny that Boxall looks normal sized in this game and everyone else looks small.
That last free kick surely emphasizes the problem with Kosta. Has played well. Linked well, nearly a goal. Zero threat up against Mina on what is a good free kick chance. We haven’t had that many goal kicks! But I noticed we tried to find Tuiloma and just went out of play on one.
Stamenic getting kicked. Bell’s allowed to tackle about half the time. Must be an amazing atmosphere.
Our FBs are helping I guess. They’re not the quickest, so they’re not getting caught up field. Gives us the illusion of being solid, but also means we’re lacking in two attacking threats we might have had with Libby and Payne, or even as some have said Loke or Elliot.
Great passers need players to hit!
We’re doing better than I expected, though you’d think the Colombians are in second or third gear at most.

Apples & nectarines.
Smith is 35 and is there as basically an advisor/morale booster. Just like Hudson had Rory Falloon doing back in the day.
Loke is 20, and has played about 180 mins of pro football. The Colombians would target him and expose him terribly.
At least Tuiloma has a tonne of MLS experience up against Sth Americans. Roux likely comes on 2nd half and we see how he goes.
The left side with Garbett and De Vries has been horrendous. Both too slow on the ball against opposition like this.
Wouldn’t mind having McGarry come on someone who’s much better technically.
Surman and Just have been awesome helping out Tuiloma to shut off Diaz.
Stamenic, Bell and Singh really good in possession and getting stuck into the Colombian midfield. Getting pulled apart occasionally but against a side like this that’s gonna happen.
Kosta has worked hard and was unlucky.
I still think when we have a full squad we need to try the diamond. Stamenic, Bell, Thomas and Singh all need to play together to give us our best chance to get results.
- unfortunately I think we might be to late in the piece for that now. I still can’t remember anything good that has come off from our wingers in recent memories hence why I advocate for this change.
We don’t have the profile of winger at that level that can pick up the ball and pick out a man or get around him with pace and skill.
I'm happy with that half. Far more competative than I anticipated. We have worked hard, had a couple chances and not been cut open too much. Overall, we have been competative against a very good side.
Just got to the Right Track Sports bar. Big screen, looks good. Can see every jink, sidestep, foul, curled lip... Hopefully a goal or 2 from our Men in Black.
Bell lucky not to give away a goal there. He's been bang average again.
If you watch only him he's putting in a huge amount of work. He's constantly stepping up on with the man with the ball. He's doing his job screening the defence.
