Pity that mini Judas was injured.  He's a lot better then Judas II.  I don't think the Nix will miss Judas II this season if his touch today is anything to go on.

Cracking goal WeeMac.  A couple of great goals for us tonight.  Just annoying that we not scored more.

Sure is, questioning why we started like we did with Patterson messing things up. Musa and Roux are breaths of fresh air and HOLY SHIT WHAT A GOAL

Musa has to start on Tuesday.  Wouldn't surprise me if Chris misses the next game and heads back to the UK over the weekend.  Job done.

Good to see the organization at QBE is as diabolical as ever

I kind of think he is a bit of a hinderance, so many attacks break down with him involved. Much like his time with the Nix with the occassional well taken goal.

10,230 probably caught them by surprise. Hopeless.

Roux put in a good performance, makes you wonder why he didnt play in the confed cup. I would like to see Doyle over Wynne though

Enjoyed that, thought we looked pretty good.

Welp, the White noise got kicked out of the White noise zone for standing. We got our own aisle at the opposite end of the stadium. Shambles from NZF/QBE/Red Badge, good result though

Anywhere else apart from the OFC and its a straight red.

Going into the return leg, WeeMac & Colvey are 1 yellow away from a ban iirc. I wouldn't be surprised if WeeMac doesn't play now.

Some points:

Good - Musa was fantastic when he came on, Roux played like he'd been there all along and Brotherton I actually like, decent performance from him. He's young and a bit (or a lot) green but I think he should be a regular in the squad. Thomas is equal with Wood and Reid as our most important player.  And how did Themi not get a run at the Confed Cup? Such an assured, experienced footballer.

Bad - Wynne, really, really naive defending. Kosta is not, and will never be an international quality footballer. He can trap a ball further than most can kick it. And Moses Dyer back in the squad? I really thought Hudson had at last seen the light. Apparently not.

All in all, should have probably been 9-0. But hell, we did the job.

Nix, Leyton Orient and Alloa Athletic supporting schmuck.

Good match. Wood showed his class tonight and Thomas was again very good. Roux had a strong game, as did Brotherton. SI's defending was pretty pathetic at times though

Bans do, not sure about yellow card accumulation tho.

Few quick thoughts....

Hard to complain when you score 6 but that should have been double figures

Marinovic couple of good saves but he still has the wobbles. Never feel confident with him
Brotherton solid but not tested
Boxall not tested did everything well defensively
Wynne improved as the game went on after wobbly start
Roux pretty poor going forward delivery weak
Wee Mac lovely goal and played well generally but that challenge ?
Thomas  solid but unspectacular. Well taken goal
Kosta. Touch like a carthorse at times. Well taken goal.
Patterson. Worst on the pitch for us. Gave ball away. A lot
Wood. Calm.  Class above anything else in attacking third. His frustration at the likes of Roux and Patterson palpable.

Musa. Did nothing wrong but pretty easy ride for any DM tonight.

Job done. As it should against a team where probably only 1 or 2 would make a CL side.

Yeah really stupid. When I went through the guy was trying to find something on my ticket that wasn't even there. Took ages. They didn't have a clue.

Good to see Laura Daniels with the white noise tho!

Oh and Boxall. Didn't know he got an early card, didnt have a way to watch it when that happened.

She said she was interviewing Woodsy tomorrow.  I may have offended her with my look of horror
