these programmes are on in the time frame that would need to be free at 12:30am

SS1 @ 11:40pm LIVE iiNET NBL (Gold coast v adelaide)
SS2 @ 9:10pm LIVE ICC cricket world cup 3rd quarter final
SS3 @ 11:30pm Delayed coverage of NRL titans v broncos

thinking if sky did get the rights then they would make the iinet NBL game delayed also.

As it is only a friendly, I reckon I have more chance of winning lotto tonight than Sky showing the China game live.

Every single All Blacks friendly match is shown live, its a shame that NZ is much more of a rugby nation than it is a football nation.

I could'nt agree more.

surely people would rather watch the All Whites v China than an Australian Basketball game??

I've already emailed.   I checked the EPG today and it's still not been added.    Come on Sky! tweet them if you're on twitter

Only one Phoenix player in the whole squad!

Notwithstanding the reality of the situation, isn't Marco technically a Phoenix player until 31 March, his contract with Melbourne starting on 1 April?

If that is the case, the official squad list is incorrect. From a statistical (and trivia question) perspective, one needs to have such things correct!

I may have got that wrong and his club registration date brought forward to the date of his announcement, but interesting for the trainspotters amongst us.

I know, I know, its serious!

still nothing in the electronic programme guide.  Heard on radio this morning Slack caps are playing South Africa in cricket WC quarter final the same night.  What are the chances sky will decide not to try for the rights due to 2 national teams playing at the the same time?

I actually told my missus that there was only one Phoenix player in the squad (Tony Lochhead), and she pointed out that Marco was still a Phoenix player until the end of the month.

Showed me up for sure.

Hello Ryan,

Also Nelsen, Fallon and Gleeson are all out with injury.

Boxall and Spoonley in, no replacement for Fallon.

Kinda happy with fallon out. i like the idea of a front 3 of

Killen               Wood
          Smeltz

Backed up by

Rojas      Wee Mac      Kosta

Locky Smith Ivan Reid

             Moss

Reid's suspended. And that midfield is not a midfield at all.

The midfield is not strong enough, they would get hammered.

not ideal. kinda feel like playing Ivan at the back would be a go considering the relative inexperience of the rest of the back line, however that does mean the centre of midfield is a tad weak

we really need to win this game, losing Nelsen puts us on the back foot, but i think we still got the team to do it. China are not that strong, but our win record is not that great historically, this is a game we need to take.

Not sure what China are doing, but in fifa.com they have four games booked in 5 days. So sounds like they could be doing a bit of player and formation/experiments. I guess this should work in our favour?

I think we should line up in a Barcelonaish 4-3-3 with Rojas, Kosta and Killen the front 3.

Then we should start playing like Barcelona.

Why do we have to go through this every game? Surely NZF and Sky can come up with some sort of deal so we all know that ALL games will be televised.

Same with the FA Cup. The fact that it is not on NZ TV is a disgrace when we are paying good money for a sport channel.

By the sounds of it, Sky are having problems sorting a deal out with the Chinese broadcaster, nothing to do with NZF.

If Law firms can employ 2/3rds of the Fever exec the standards aren't high so you could be right.

Feverish works at a law firm as well, although he went to the same law school as AucklandPhoenix.

                                         Moss
                    Boxall           Boyens          Smith
Brockie/Fitzgerald                                               Lochead
                                         Ivan
                                      Wee Mac

                              Killen     Smeltz    Wood

This is a tough one to pick!? I am thinking Ricki's choice might be the above for the starting lineup. subs to come on: Kosta(for Killen), Rojas(fot Wee Mac) and Clapham(for Boyens..moving Ivan into defense).

Any idea who the Chinese broadcaster is. I haven't found the game on CCTV5 or Guangdong Sports and they usually have all the China games...

Boxall should have been in the team to start with.
He's way better than any of the other (execpt Ryan) centre backs selected.
