Because thumping Vanuatu is such an achievement?

There are only several players doing well - I would say they are:

Wood
Barbarouses
Moss
Reid

Very similar team today to that game to: Moss, Boyens, Ivan, Si, Tim, Smeltz (with Mulli, Killy & Brockie, riding the pine first half today).

Interestingly just noticed that Nigeria pumped Spain 4-1!

Thought Smeltz has been ok too, dropped deep to help midfield and has been tidy in possession.

I can imagine Ricki looks like the coach from the film Waterboy right now. He is probably quietly trying to disappear into the background.

and to be fair, not much else he can do, except re-group for Aussie game.

I just hope mexico take their foot off the gas a little so we can actually play some football. because out the moment we are just not up to speed.

If we build it, they will come...

I'm at work so can't watch it but b the sounds of things Ricki seriously needs to open up his tactics book and flip to a page not marked "3-4-3". Seriously sometimes...sack Ricki.

And we beat Nigeria's U19 side or something right?
So we must be World Champions. I demand a better performance from such a ranked side.

What are the changes at halftime? Killen for Smeltz, Mulligan for Boxall? Any others?

First thing that will have an immediate impact is to change everyones footwear. The ground looks crap, little grass, and our players keep sliping over. If it's hard, and they are not gaining traction, they should be playing in moldies.

There are a few players who should not be playing. IMO Eilliot and Vicelich have both had their day. There is no way Boxxall should be playing on the wing. Brown is invisible again. I would take off Vicelich, Boyens, Eilliot and Brown. Bring on McGlinchy, Sigmund, Mulligan and Brockie. Possible Smeltz for Killen as well.

Mulligan's on?
That wasn't THAT bad. The guy did 3 backflips out of supposed pain. However yeah reckless and could've been far worse.

Really poor first half... Vicelich was woeful and Brown completely missing in action. Hopefully we can nip one back his half and get a bit of credit back.

Still 3-0. The lads seem much more keen to take the fight to them, although our passing is still woeful at best.
