Midfielders: Cristian Riveros (Sunderland), Enrique Vera (Atlas), Osvaldo Martinez (Monterrey), Osmar Molinas (Olimpia), Victor Caceres (Libertad), Marcos Riveros (Nacional), Nestor Camacho (Rubio Nu), Hernan Perez (Villarreal), Derlis Orue (Olimpia).

Strikers: Edgar Benitez (Pachuca), Roque Santa Cruz (Manchester City), Nelson Haedo Valdez (Hercules).

Good to see a near full strength team for this.

Lets hope that Paraguay does what Honduras is doing, ie bringing their second string teams here. Oh well, that makes the posiibility of nice wins that much easier. Phew!

I'm not too bothered really. I don't think it'll change the publics interest much and I'm going to watch the All Whites, not one big name player.

i dont care at all about santa cruz. the main impact will be on media atttitude. with enough AW absentees and injuries plus with likes of Santa Cruz pulling out, the media may start to write stuff suggesting these two games are becoming a bit of a let down, which will turn people off regardless of the fact they didnt know who santa cruz was anyway.

Let me just say I do care that Santa Cruz isn't playing. Of course I want to see the All Whites win, but if I wanted to see them win so bad I'd fly up for the Honduras game instead. Santa Cruz is a world class player, one of my favourites too, and we don't get many of them in the country.

tbh from what i've seen over the last year or so Valdez is in better form thepanyway. He did score 2 against Barca at Camp Nou after all..
