I got it, but deceided not to comment!

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Jamie Scott (Comms person for NZF I think) just said on the radio that 14,000 have been sold.

That's pretty good.

It all depends on Sunday morning now.

Love the coverage on the Dom POst and Radio Sport, its all Football. BUT... Everyone ringing up on the radio is failing to point out the fact we are massive underdogs. They think it is a 50 50 shot, but really we would have have to play really well, in both games to win.

And that in relation to the crowd, i think that if we come back 1-0 down, or 2-0 down. I would almost take that as it gives us a shot. But i can see the New Zealand Public just turning their noses up and waling away.

If that happens that is where we become key, that is where we start talking up how it will be a fantastic party and how we can do it.

The flights would also be expensive for us, as well as accomodation and all that. But still. Its so frustrating!! I hope there's a super atmosphere down there, though, with a mega after party!!

I would disappointed if it doesn't sell out considering that result.

It an easy sell to potential punters....win=WC

Just out of curiosity does anyone know the attendance in Manama?

Yeah take to the streets over the next month.

Someone with the connections, convince NZF to put up a poster online, just like the Nix ones, would be choice.

Well i know that TV1 are playing 1hr highlights at midday. so that will generate some ticket sales at the ROF

It all points to a sellout now , thats if all the media get behind the team, please take note TVNZ.It reminds me of the '82 world cup the media got on the band wagon when they started to win games especially after the Sydney game.

With a bit of luck, the general public will see this as a great opportunity to be part of something big.
Up to us to get our mates / colleagues to get into this too.
Hopefully a sell out - with extra seating installed!

People on the radio, saying how it has to be a sell out. I am still not convinced. Was hopeing 20 thousand or so would have been sold by now.

Seriously hope that i am wrong. And of course having no coverage on the Telly doesn't help. But that is for another thread.

after this morning game it would be disapointing if the game didnt sell out.

This tension is doing me no good at all. Full house here we come.
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

I know of heaps of people who are going, even before todays result who haven,t got their tickets yet. I really feel it will be a sell out. I will be disappointed if it its not.

I have posted a blurb on my Facebook to try and persuade out of towners and the likes to come down for the weekend - spare room at my house on offer as well as a cracking night out!

I know of someone going who has never been to a live sports event before.  I also know quite a few people who like football and were waiting for the results of leg one before buying.  They'll of course be in now.

There's a New Zealand record begging to broken eh?  31k in '81 (I think that's the actual record for an NZ International), about 32k for LA Galaxy, RoF full = 34k.

This mornings result was really important because now it is really on the line here. Have been telling a lot of people it'll be the biggest party of the year and I think that kind of atmosphere will definitely encourage some along. Bloody excited already and we've still got a month. Crikey
