I was hoping that this would be the first mens team to beat a South American team, a feat that hasn't happened at any level yet (Mexico is North America).

if the referee does his job properly there is no issue. Guy gets a card for a stupid thing and game goes on. Instead ref bottles it which only causes problems. The referee should be criticised for a poor decision

agreed, first appearance at under 20's 2007 in CAnada, we lost everything, just getting there was an achievement, now in 2011, we have drawn with CAmeroon, and look likely to draw with Uruguay, both very very goiod footballing nations with long histories in this tourney!
