Dale higham scored a goal woah!

well done to the young guns

I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

Higham actually wasn't too bad on the few occasions I saw him, I guess it's quite easy to dismiss PNG as being poor though.

Side note: Can anyone remember the last time we had to follow updates on the OFC wesbite, and it was a guy who comically didn't understand English? Or did I just imagine that?

 Na that is pretty standard.

storm roux apparently had a great game at right back. bill tuiloma came on to replace higgins at left back. hopefully young roux kicks on and nabs that RB spot at Glory next year

Higgins got dragged because of the yellow card.. Jesse edge was warming up before ready to come on.

The celebration of the frist goal in Vanuata v Fiji is amazing.  The second man in puts a proper deliberate trip on his own man so he can start the pile up!!

Sounds like Vanuatu had more chances in the second half, still a win is what we need.

So the boys were solid today, didnt take enough of there chances and nearly gifted vanuatu a goal but lucky for good work from the keeper  .. The vanuatu team turned to dirty tactics and a few of our boys were on the end of two footed challenges which the refs only gave out yellows..

Did we watch the same highlights... almost every delivery by Howieson was too long and was only made to look good by the keepers poor positioning.

How you can say anyone looked fantastic on the ball is also a mystery giving the short snippets seen, and if anything looking at the highlights there was only one team in it in the second half and it wasn't us. One little moment doesn't make a game.

Crocombe did look solid though.

Fiji is haping up as the must win game. When do we have them?

Thomas' comment simply needed an 'again'. Between this and first game he was fantastic on the ball. I guess we see things differently on Howieson. I thought his delivery was fantastic. Anyway

vanuatu highlights

crocombe looks very solid. tuiloma is looking big. nice wee run to set up only goal. thomas fantastic on the ball and howieson's boot is fantastic from set piece.

#14 (Schrijvers?) looked handy. nice steal of edge of 6yd box and great placement in.Hard to tell if it was offside from video footage.Looked pretty close to me.
