Fudge me that's a shocking tackle on Putt there. Free kick in a fantastic position, so close to a pen
27 Sep 23:23
Good effort from McKenlay there. Love Putts driving runs. Not afraid to take on defenders and running into space or at the opposition.
27 Sep 23:23
Ooffh now that's a yellow!
27 Sep 23:29
Ukich electric so far. Love the look of him. Defo a bit bigger now too

Good to see us creating chances! Lovely bit of play from LBS to create some space for our latest effort.
27 Sep 23:41
The ref is a bit tough with some of those tackle calls

Big time block from Bulkeley after a quick break.

Surprised Auckland FC passed on him when he trialled there. Always thought he'd shown he was a more than capable defender when he's been around our national team setups.

Apart from 1 bad giveaway Ukich has looked class. Great first touch, and then turns and powers off into open space more than once. Waiting to hear about the Colo Colo rumours, aka Conchie and Boca in 2023.

We look good. Definitely not overawed by the occasion & crowd so far. A Gillion shot just off target. Think we have seen that somewhere else before.

Overall like the nononsense Bosnian ref.

Fudgeing hell, how have we not scored???
28 Sep 00:11
Great start by us in the 2nd half.
28 Sep 00:11
Should be 1-0 what a chance, and what a start to the 2nd half. Come on lads!
28 Sep 00:14
LBS not doing his value any harm

I know, I know, its serious!

Ah fudge off. The way it always goes, every single time, with this nation

Gillion unfortunately been poor all match, him and McKenlay have had a few of those dodgy passes - this one costs us
28 Sep 00:14
What an utterlty senseless, moronic goal to concede
28 Sep 00:15
Too cute playing it out the back, what the hell was that. Fudge sake.

A poor left foot switch from McKenlay. Not a huge surprise him and Fergus Gillion two of the poorer performers.

Piss off Ramos you little Twit.

GSR time.
28 Sep 00:40
come on (also ref needs to give some yellows for arguing for var)
28 Sep 00:41
YES!!! What a beautiful play from Kelly then Walker, penalty given
28 Sep 00:41
Penalty!

Get it into ya Chile.
Definite penalty, he's kicked his legs clean out.
28 Sep 00:41
Walker confirms his status as the best overall player of the young Nix…(except perhaps for Loke)!

28 Sep 00:42
No VAR, but Chile can challenge the decision (like cricket).
28 Sep 00:42
And the goal keeper was NOT off his line…amazing…hope they’ve got a good way to get the ref out of the stadium!

28 Sep 00:43
Unbelievably clear penalty. Pretty poor challenge there. I do like this though. Do coaches have access to footage in preparation for a challenge, like in basketball?
28 Sep 00:44
Walker you legend!!
28 Sep 00:44
Wooooooooooooooooooo!

Don't think so, but they are only get two so if you've given away a penalty in the 83rd minute might as well chance it.

Time for some yellows for dissent though. Those Chilean kids have some attitudes
28 Sep 00:45
Great and composed penalty too.
28 Sep 00:45
Chile forever the monkeys of South America 😀😀😀

Nerves of steel Walker!

The challenge system certainly has merit. Be interesting to see if the experiment is taken further.

I know, I know, its serious!

That arsehole #13 who was trying to sell it as a dive the whole 2-3 minutes it was being reviewed.

Watching his head drop when the decision still went against him.
Priceless.

Him being the guy who kicked Walkers ankles out from under him so knew it was a penalty. What a tool.

These guys are a bunch of diving cods. 16 tries to clear out our 9, falls over and stays down like he's been shot
28 Sep 00:55
Ref's been good but he's quite liberal with the cards isn't he? Not ideal for a tournament where I assume suspensions are a looming issue

I really like it.

Would be interesting to see how it would be utilized in a controversial and incident packed match though. But initial thoughts are that it stops the nonsense challenges and leaves it largely up to the man in the middle which I Iike.
28 Sep 00:57
Oh what the fudge was that. Piss off
28 Sep 00:57
Costly fudge up
