Solihull Greene's Barmy Army - 12:00 30th

 

Speaking of which HN, Willie on SportstalkZB just spent the hour showing up the no caps on fizzy bottles rule for what it is - Nanny State and stupid FIFA requests. I also noticed last Thursday, they had the FIFA approved menu up on the wall and what a surprise - All this cool food was not available to be bought! Instead it was the same old sh*t on offer.

 

The centre pairing of Jacobs and Bonner were exceptional, broke up attack after attack, and were totally uncompromising. They were quite happy to give the ball a good hoof forward if necessary to put the pressure right back on the Brazilians.

 

The full backs were tight too and generally coped well with the dribbling skills of the Brazilian wingers.

 

Across the middle they had some solid old players, with the clever Nobbs being supported by more physical players.

 

And they two subs (Eli and Jane) showed that they have plenty of surplus attacking potential as well.

 

Really looking forward to the remaining games.
