Guy Fawkes...how appropriate.

"Though he died after being arrested, GF managed to avoid the agony of being quartered (cut open while still conscious) by jumping from the gallows and breaking his neck."

"At the end of the drive the lawmen arrive...

I'll take my chance because luck is on my side or something...

Oh Rio, Rio, hear them shout across the land..."

Jetsetting All Whites

This is getting beyond a joke.

The Phoenix need to pull their heads in and just get out of the fucking way here.

A World Cup play-off is far more important than an A-League game against the Glory.

NZF need to stand firm and tell the Nix to GGF. It's not even about whether it can be done logistically. It's about the player's well-being. Surely running off the pitch and straight onto a plane for 15-16 hours worth of travel is not great for the body and mind. And by being soft on the Phoenix NZF are also allowing West Ham, Ipswich and Leicester to engage in the same nonsense.

And by the way, there has been so much shit about the All Whites preparation given to NZF on this forum already that I cannot believe anybody could actually summon up enough hypocrisy to criticize NZF if they do force the Nix All Whites to miss the Glory game (unless you are a Dirty Sanchez in disguise).

Hope to fuck if Durante plays in Mexico he gets a spring in his step! Otherwise they're going to run through him like he's a hole. Who's his cover? Ivan? Lawdy-lord! I reckon Payne's going to get thrown in - I hope Payne's going to get thrown in!

After the first leg played in Estadio Azteca that will be controlled by Viktor Kassai, it will be Germany's Felix Brych who will have the honour to take charge of the second leg in Wellington, New Zealand. He will be accompanied by Mark Borsch and Stefan Lupp as assistant referees and by Marco Fritz as fourth official. Russian Nikolay Levnikov will be the referee observer.
For the doctor in law from Munich, it will be his second play-off of his career, having handled the match between Ireland and France in Dublin in 2009.

You're thinking of the wrong leg. This was the first leg. A Swedish guy who's name elludes me did the Henry handball. Incidentally, he has now retired from refereeing and works as a firefighter.

This is my take on the squad.

Durante, Sigmund,Lochhead, Bertos,Ivan and Christie should not even bother getting changed.

The other major problem that we have is the fitness of Marco and Smeltz.

Other than that we might be able to put a competitive side on the pitch.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid
