Oughton. Now.

It will be someone from the 7 non travelling reserves. Not Oughton. You are obsessed.

Tim was on my flight home. He seemed reasonably upbeat to me.

Three for me, and two for them.

Yeah, but he might have just been off his face on morphine.

Agreed however we both know there is something flawed in Ricki's thinking towards Oughton. Of course it will be one of the 7 for whatever stupid reason. Mulligan as our next best choice CM over Oughton?

Yip, even if he's wrapped up like a mummy, he will make the field for our first world cup game. No doubts.

Peverley most likely of the 7 to take his spot aye?

And to the gentleman who suggested Chris James take his spot, I'd rather head to SA with 22 players than with him.

Will have many prayers for Tim. Really hope he is OK

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Name a god, and I'll pray for him. I'm sure Fallon could recommend one.

Absolute tragedy if he can't make it. There are few players in that squad more deserving of going to the WC than Tim.

Tim is a battler.  Remember him scoring goals with bandages round his head?  Get well VERY soon Tim!!

We can only choose from the 30, so for the likes of James & Oughton... even if the whole team ends up crocked they will still not make SA

He'll be there... can you imagine being the medico trying to tell him he can't go?...

He said he would find out more today, well it sounds like he will know today one way or another after his specialist visit. Come on Doc, whack some screws in his shoulder and let play.
Fingers very tightly crossed for you Tim, it would be a massive blow to the campaign to lose one of if not the most hard-working man on the field.

It would not be the same without The Timinator being there. Such a recognisable presence. He may not have the skills of Zico or even Gerrard but he gives his best, he gives us pride, he gives us determination and that never say die attitude that New Zealanders are world reknown for.

Micro surgery and The Timinator = WC appearances - Please god of football, you know it to be fair reward to the player.

I'm not sure what's up with the stutter-typing. Perhaps this is Max Headroom.

Grella smote Timmy.  Pray to Pax for his swift recovery.

By the way, I reckon Browny should go anyway, and I say so in a blog here: http://smithynz.wordpress.com

Well, naturally - if we can take Moss, we can take Browny even if his arm comes off altogether.

Back to PAX worship I see.. Paxtology? Paxtologists? Looking for some tax exemption soon?

I reckon Tim will be alright. Will see him at WC scoring in no time.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Actually, now I think of it... would Timmy be ready quicker if they just amputated? It's not as if he's a goalie. Don't laugh.

I have a one-arm team mate and he is class. Lots of pace and skills.

hmm, maybe they should remove Tim's arm altogether?

ALL THE BEST TIMBO, you will make it man, I feel it!

I agree Brown should be there as VC, even if he can't play... I mean we're taking Boyens and Brockie...The decision on his fitness should be made 30 seconds before kick off.
