I get your drift but that was a bit uncouth.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

The crew from the top of Aisle 24 are going! 7 in total.  Got flights and tickets.  In MM 9-15 - NZ supporters area.   My mates flew out today to sydney and then are flying to melbourne.  We get in on saturday arvo and leave on tuesday morning,  Its going to be a horrid flight home one predicts.  Especially if we beat the Convicts.  Cmon lads

Leggy vs Buffon seems to be one of the biggest rivalries on this site.

I'm on Emirates at 7:15am, if we win I think I'll just drink through.

Also, if we have a sh*t view I am holding your responsible and may consider withholding payment for my ticket.

The key is to get fully legless so the singing voice (and wit) is razor sharp and then watch the replay for actual match analysis.

Sure, it's not good for my liver, and it's an extra hour and a half I have to spend than if I'd just stayed sober the first time but god dammit this is a team game and we have our part to play too!
If these are the sacrifices I have to make for the All Whites and the Phoenix then so be it!

Along with Scottishbhoy vs Buffon, Michael vs Buffon, Bopman vs Buffon and even recently Smithy vs Buffon.

I can't understand all the hate personally.

Three for me, and two for them.

Buffon, I'm not going to know anyone over there, so any Kiwi is my best friend in Melbourne!

wow Buffy I was feeling a bit bad for you before and was worried I'd contributed to your many battles pulling you up on your racism the other day but with this kind of arrogant attitude I'm kind of seeing just how easily you rub people up the wrong way

Okay, I've booked my tickets. I'm flying over on Friday at 6.30am from Auckland to get there at 8.45am Aussie time. Flying back at 9.55am Tuesday to get to Auckland at 3.30pm!

In between I'm a free man! Meeting up with hellobeaver and his mates, who are coming over on Sunday. Going to stay with them Sunday and Monday night and, of course, go to the game with them. So from Friday till Sunday, I'm all on my lonesome! Don't know where I'll stay, but backpackers sounds good. I see there are quite a few on here also going alone, so I'm keen to meet up with at any stage.

I'm going on the Friday because I want to have a few days to check out Melbourne. I'm a bit of a history buff, so I'll want to check out any old sh*t. I'm also a bit of a punk, so I'm keen to go to the Tony Sly/Joey Cape gig (frontmen of No Use For a Name and Lagwagon) on the Saturday night. Please PM me if anyone on here is keen to join me for the gig or to look at old sh*t. My other interests are football and drinking, but I don't imagine I'll have any trouble finding people for that!

I am totally stoked for this!

Dude, AFL would be rad! Who versus who? Who do we support? What are the rules?

I'm thinking the game at Etihad, cause its half the price.

Although I could go and watch my beloved Richmond play. They are only 0-6 with a percentage of less than 50%.

Cool, I'm totally up for it. What are the ticket prices like? My knowledge of AFL can be found here. I think I was a Hawthorn Hawks man, but my allegiances are fickle.

About $30AU a ticket I think. I say half the price - it's actually only marginally cheaper.

Pretty sure Mossy (forum name) is going to that one as well.  He's got a relly playing in it.

Personally we're off to the VPL game at Somers st straight from the plane.

How's my driving? - Whine here

Ah, one for the Boxhead.

I was going to say Clapham would be playing for the Albanian's but he's got some other team to play for who he seems to think are more important....

How many tickets are sold to this? I'll be dark if the stadium is only half full.
