Only Tade. Players v WaiBop yesterday included Tavano, Irving, Berlanga, De Vries, the Serb CB. Ivan seated next to Ramon.

Len Brown and Phil Goff pressing the flesh.

Typical Len, turned up at half time when he didn't have to pay.

Emi heading home to Argentina after signing pro contract.

Huge huge loss to City.

Yep, he will be playing at Mitre de Santiago del Estero, a very small third tier team.

Not a smart move in my opinion, the team is professional but the contract wage must be pretty low. Plus the living conditions in Santiago are one of the lowest in Argentina.

It's his hometown team he's supported all his life though apparently.

And not having made it in pro football in his home country when younger, you can understand him wanting to take this opportunity.

Financially, I think Auckland City don't pay their foreign players that much from what I've read? I saw $260 / week mentioned?

Emilano has got family in Santiago so living there would be cheap for him.

A mate of mine determined that football gets some recognition in the Halberg Awards, has pointed out to me that you can legitimately vote for "Favourite Sporting Moment" once a day.

Click on Auckland City at #10 on the list:

http://www.sportingmoments.co.nz/

"Voting for the Award begins at 12.01am on 5/1/15. Voting continues until 8.00pm on 11/2/15. Voters, either by text or online may vote only once per day."

One kiwi out Two more foreigners in, I thought NZ Football had put a restrictions on how many foreign imports you were allowed in your squad. One may argue what are the doing for the development of Kiwi boys.

I think that 50% of the match day squad must be elegible for NZ

NZF regulation on national league....

19.10 The Start List must include a minimum number of New Zealand Qualified Players, which:

19.10.1 In the case of The League and The Championship Semi-final Play-offs shall be a minimum of 8 Players; or

19.10.2 In the case of The Championship Grand Final, shall be a minimum of 9 Players.

As long as Auckland are complying - along with all other entries - there's not really an issue here, is there?

no i was purely saying with two players out of the team who meet this criteria and two in who don't you might see some odd team selections to make sure they comply.

So is that starting on the field of the 11 or of the total team sheet?

Could become a lot better tho if he gets game time in Mexican Primo Liga. Still only 21. And if we cap him first, we keep him. Just a thought.

So we are giving away AW shirts now,  must have to prove himself first just because he played for $uckland $ity doesn't mean he gets a Jerzy I'm with Vader on this.

If we are giving Benjamin Van Den Broek a cap for depth then Fabi should be in the same category.  Not sure how the Romanian league compares to Mexico but...
