Would there be any point with wagget in goals?

Lets be honest, Lutz won't be returning to Dunedin unless he's on a decent wedge. I think he'd be great for Otago Utd & Football South & has proved this in the past. When hes been in goal, Utd have had a pretty decent record...

Is Utd going to replace the departing Chris Jenkinson? been a pretty decent player so far.

Chances this week Blanche?
Think Otago might struggle without Chris Jenkinson - I thought he was coming back?
Two new/old faces at training this week for United - looks like a summer swoop for the services of Justin Flaws and Aaron Burgess.....

Was taking my nephew down to athletics on Tuesday night at the cale and noticed them - they may have been just keeping fit and making numbers up at training however I never miss a tech stalwart.

It has come to my attention that Reece Henderson & Robert Deeley are becoming a little too chummy at the moment. First they signed up at Les mills together, now i hear they've splashed out on a holiday to the sunny beaches of Sydney - just the two of them, how romantic. With all these recent activities going on i will also point out that Deeley has recently become single. I'm not one to start any rumours but i'll let the viewers come to their own conclusions...

Perhaps it is you with the Anti-semitism Blanche.  I guess Ronaldoknow is referring to the fact Kelly is off to Israel on Thursday.  Plenty of Jews there.

You were the one who referred to the money.  Chaching!

Thoughts?

Knox should be up front, theres no point in him getting into wide positions to cross the ball to players like Ede & Faichnie

Been a bit quiet so had some questions for the new year
Who is going to play centre half with Horner? (Sadd is sad)
Why is the goalie struggling to get his 'expenses'?
Where is Stu kelly? and is he coming back?
Why couldn't they afford a return ticket for Chris Jenkinson?
What is happening with the Youth team? starts in 6 weeks
Does Phelo still have a contract now he's got a new job?
Who will stay at Roslyn with Jimmy Vaughan the coach?

Otago have just p155ed all over Manawatu in Palmy - 3-0 going away. Knox 2 and Ede the scorers.

That win fires the southerners up to the hitherto unheard of heights (for Otago in the NZFC) of third - good for the league!

Cheers,

I watched the game and being on the otago football scene this year i still struggled to recognise alot of the otago lads. But having said that they did try to play good football (unlike manawatu who were terrible, booting the ball forward and waiting for their islander to win them the game) so full credit to them. By the end of the second half otago were playing with them, fitness definitly showed so obviously malcy doing something right.

Small lad up front wasnt very flash tho, wasted alot and didnt do much but the bigger guy (who got dragged after the 1st goal) looked quality and held the ball up well. Would have loved to see tom connor come on up front and use his speed at the end but instead he got thrown at the back for abbo (who also suprised me by being so solid despite marking manwatus best player).

All in all, well done lads.

Another question could be, will anyone stick around at Cavy when Boylan turns up?

With Jenkinson gone, who is there to replace him at cavy? Do you reckon there will be an exodus when he goes there? or is this a Tech view out of concern?
Boylan and Horner were very strong a couple of years ago for Otago, maybe it will work again!

Gee I watched the game too and Otago had hardly turned up in the first half. Your defence was opened up time and again and it was only poor finishing from our lads that kept you guys in the match. That said the 2nd half was a complete turn around - you took your chances and dominated for long periods to earn a deserved win.
