Well you have to change it back to what it was a bit don't you cos Tom and Matt have been so very good (you know in retrospect the problem really was TP at centre back- he's so good as a player but so bad and confused at CB - and shit what did I say about playing guys OOP).  But now we can all see we have some defensive depth and I think you have to accommodate Jude - who I think has been quite brilliant and energetic and a good luck charm also.  So Tom Matt Jude Ferg at the back and play Horner as a DM is what I'd do - throw him in with Victor as another DM in the Italian 4-2-2-1-1 style and you're very solid at the back and lethal on the counter against any side if we use our smarts and utilise Ryder's and Colicott's pace wide, with Tommy Jackson (woo hoo he's like even better than Tom Connor) as an attacking mid and (yes this is NatPevin talking) play Burgess high.

Any other SPL transfer rumours?? Recently heard that Mansfield's off to roslyn Day aswell, the two young lads from braes (bottom 2013 again) are splitting to Mosgiel and Roslyn?? any of these confirmed?? come on people spill the beans!!!

He's more like 22 next month I think, but he's a really great player IMO and I think he still has time to be a pro of some sort if he keeps working away at it.  A move back to NZ and a contract with Auckland City, Waitakere or Wellington next season would be a good next step for him, assuming he doesn't get picked up by an MLS club after he completes his studies.

Just read the only Kiwi to be picked up in the Superdraft was Nik Keown-Robson so bad luck Tom Jackson.  Maybe he is more likely to come back for Otago now, although I did hear from my contacts he was staying in the States even though he's a Otago player now.  Anyone know?

Nice concept in dreamworld but Donnie's had like how much football recently?  SFA that's how much.  You gotta be sharp and fit and tough for NL and Donnie (I concede he has some talent) is none of those right now - unless unbeknown to me he's recently been doing a PhD, the Cargill climb in short time, and wrestling with Matty Joy for fun.  So in short - fook off and come back when you've got something sensible to say.

According to rumours, Donnie's Physio has told him that he is fit enough for a season in the BPL.

Rooster that makes no sense at all.  Ferg has no right foot, and you can't leave Tom out altogether!  And if RM benched Horner he would transform into his nasty green hulkish form and tear the whole town up - RM wouldn't dare do that.  And in any case the Canty boys are nasty buggers and we'll need all of our hard men on deck.  You can't have a boys like Mansford or people (that's a PC word for girls) like Day and Donnie out there.  Stick hard man Horner in the middle of the park (his body's up to it I hear - his missus even says they are able to have sex once a month again now) with Mepham and let them do the job on Clapham. Rich would be insane to play burg up top by himself. No disrespect to the guy, but 2 goals via pens.... reg would have to remain up top given his recent form, and musculature, i must add. I think that having 2 men (meph and tim) behind the main middle 3 justifies the 2 wingers, ryder and reg, having to work hard up and down the field which would just tire them out. Have one, on the other hand, ensures that connor and ferg are working up and back more. Save ryder and victors (who i think should be on wing) energy, and get those players who are bloody fit (ferg and tom) to do the defensive work. WE WILL WIN THIS GAME.

Oh dear...hard to understand why Matt Joy didn't start - my sources tell me it should have been him and Jude side by side because (yes) Horner was a bit worse for wear for some reason  And another red card - our fourth of the season.  You  can't compete with 10 men, although its sounds like we were struggling in midfiled especaily before he was sent.  Gonna watch this one on Sky 110 for sure.  Grrr - yes please tell me more Roundballs.

Nat ..I had otago to win for sure...but i was wrong, it was ugly to watch, i agree jude and matt should have been together, horner was shocking and dosn't deserve the captains role. My biggest problem is the coach won't make the hard calls with his own cavy team. Aaron Burgess I respect you as a player BUT you no longer have the legs for national league, please resign. For the first 75 minutes the team looked lost with no BITE at all, cunningham as usual got pushed around, ryder has a shocker, all flair but no bite, i'm over it.

Everyody watching can see whats happening and yet they sit on the bench and dont say a word.

In my opinion their time is up put someone in there who will play players who deserve to be there .

yip i agree, jude is no striker but you have to keep the cavy boys happy eh! Ive been to all the home games not going to any more had enough! RM and co its time to go.

I missed the game today., but can we really be surprised about the result? I hear Rich is a great guy, but a little inexperienced for that level, which of course makes a lot of sense. I really cannot understand the reasoning behind  playing players out of position. people have built up a wealth of experience from playing in certain positions, use it. Get Mike Fridge or Malcolm fleming in there.
