Why does Gov only gets 5 minutes today, that's an insult to the man. Bring him on earlier and give him time to work his magic against Waitak

Packing the last of my bags for Oz - what a shame we lost 4-1 after it was 2-1 and we had them under the hammer; so I'm told.  Gotta look at the subs - Ridden a card machine and pen give away-er and Gannon the loose cannon and another card machine - bad choices Mr RM - that's just what I'm hearing.  Good games from others, but especially Matty Jump for Joy and Liam not so Little, plus Victor les coc un grand, and the hairy fella  - that's the word from my lovely friend Pev (she's the one with the great legs btw).

why why why does RM on close hard fought games make the gay call on having just 3 backs with 5-10minutes to go at national league level....how many games this season has he made that call and seen late goals scored because of it....great way of upsetting his players

Perhaps he is putting players forward so that they can try and score, rather than sitting back in defence?

Exactly

Good performance today.

I say at 2-1 down why not take a gamble? Yes, 3-1 or 4-1 is likely but at least we had a crack.

I'd rather that than hanging on to 2-1.

Strange all this discussion on GI having money, they overspent there income last year with two imports, unless Mark has found a benefactor I can't see all the shifts being proposed. (Burnley isn't providing any money)

$400 a week for Gannon was a bit ridiculous, can't even start for Otago!

Absolutely f**king ridiculous, when you have a G.I Stalwart such as Dan Rutter not getting anything from G.I, and has played for them for over 10 years it just doesn't make sense. Sure some money to scott would have been sweet but the rumoured $400 p.w is cray.

As a staunch Green Island man, the money could definately be better spent. Rutter, Gunn, Robinson and Stevens all deserve to be paid dollar if Macgregor is still on the pay roll. I will be devastated if Joel leaves for Auckland as someone rumoured earlier.

According to RM and TH Gannon has agreed to join cavvy this winter. Will notify GI after the summer season!

Won't be paid at cavvy so must be going for the silverware. I'm sure C Flaws will be happy to have Gannon around the place lol

Players who have been at clubs for years have remained there because they enjoy playing. IMO it is fair enough for coaches to try and entice players with a little $ to try and up their rankings in the coveted Dunedin SPL league. If certain clubs do improve their ranking, even if by small monetary means, then their reputation will also increase. This will mean they will no longer need to entice players with money since the reputation alone will lure good players over. I see no problem in small payments. The best players will decline anyway, since it's the game, not the money they're after.

true but you could get 4 decent players around town for Cannon's wage, god maybe even 8 scummy uni students on $50 win bonus, they'd run through a brick wall for that.

Anyone who was at the game on Sunday were in for a treat. I scored the half time kick for cash TWICE to win $100. Went straight on the tab at your local Starters Bar. If OU had any idea they would have signed me a long time ago. Ive been gyming everyday and been FIZZING up. Roslyn for the title this year. Easy.

Was very fortunate to witness the moment. Good on you Mr. Cameron. With all these signings over at Roslyn you'd be better off moving to a real club like G.I wouldnt you? I'll put the word into Malc for you and see what sort of offer we can come up with.

You wanted rumours, "word on the street" is:

Mansford > Roslyn/Tech

Attwood > Cavy/Tech

Govan > Green Island

Coldicott > Tech

Tom Batty > Roslyn/Cavy

Curtis Day > Roslyn

Donnie & Gannon > Cavy

James Watson > Green Island

Braes keeper > Mosgiel

Little > Roslyn

Like i said these are just rumours and most can't be comfirmed until national league finishes and they actually sign. If you know of any other players thinking of shifting then spill the beans.
