There's a difference between mongrel and complete fuckin brain dead idiot. What sigmund did wasn't tough or mongrel it was cowardly . Anyone can jump on some guys legs while he's lying down not moving.

Hombre - no moochos of what yoo are saying makes good compreheno. For hexample - Milney as capitan? Weeth no prem games heeven? Me no think so. Me no even theenk he will start hombre cos he no so good, hor heeven make the team hombre. Me theenk Mat Hoy woold be mooch better as capitan hombre. Or should I call yoo Milney? Nor me theenk Ant as veecee either hombre. Someone who has played at that leevel beefore with some veegor hombre like Meepham or Feetz - mooch better hombre. Your IMO is reespected - boot yoo are on droogs hombre eef yoo theenk that leetle geenger noot cameroon weel be in the teem. Or Sanoom. Or Oward. Or... het-cetera. Hombre the beest theeng yoo talk about was weel done Tech. Boot yoo geev away you are a Tech sooporter. Forget your bi-arse hombre and speaka soom sense.

Milne, McGlaggon, Rickerby not playing
Fernando can hardly keep up with the strikers in local footy...So Nope
Cam Attwood is a defender not a midfielder, couldn't foot it against Tech/Cavy in the middle

Fair calls there KETCOBAFC. Before people start naming teams it is probably a good idea to have knowledge of who is playing and who isn't for Southern United. Now the SPL is over maybe a review of the team performances is in order. People were pretty keen to offer predictions early doors and make comment during the season. Can the season now be reviewed objectively as a lead in to the fanchise based Southern United 2013/14 campaign. Any takers? And where is Craig Doble?

Just shows you this would be an ideal list of the best local football players that are in the Southern Region but they still would not be close to strong enough to take on other National League sides at this stage. Luiz if you are reading this, please O' please bring some other talent from somewhere else in. Or it is going to be the same old story every year down here - last or second last and looking at National League squads to date I would happily say last. Luiz what is Neymar and Kaka doing this summer?

Plenty of National League experience which is going to be needed.

From all accounts Doble has gone back to Perth and Malcolm's coming back to take over what Craig was doing here with burnley.
Bit of a shame really , very talented coach with alot of good qualifications gone.

Quite simply no, however there are whispers flying around the Taieri Plains that another coach is close to signing on the dotted line for next season. With Doble all but confirmed as the new "Plainmans" coach for 2014, Mosgiel have had to act quickly & go for their "second" option in light of the Hobbit's velocious departure.
Mosgiel wanted a coach with no previous connections to the club & have opted to go for former Otago United Coach Richard Murray, who lives just around the road from the Gordon Road outfit. Murray who had the winter off this season - ( although i only found out last week that he actually wasn't the Caversham coach, for reason i thought it was him?) has found the perfect job to reestablish his career as a top coach after an unprosperous Otago reign.

Thanks to all including the ODT who responded to my Doble question. Good to have cleared up his whereabouts. He was also never that close to being confirmed as Mosgiel coach as he was asking way too much. Hence the club had been asking several possible coaching candidates regarding availability. Certainly do enjoy the posts of Daily Mail but even the SHOULD TRIAL list includes plenty of players who aren't playing. Also the only trial for Southern United is a youth trial tomorrow. Maybe the jaunt to Southland will serve as a window for the coaching staff to check out a few perspective players. At this stage of the pre-season the samba drums are beating loudly. I am sure the genius (quote wikipedia) has it all sorted.

Can someone give me the insight on the coaching style of Luiz Uehara? From what I've heard he's all out attack - Joga Bonito

this could complicate things for Mosgiel as Murray would rather have this gig

Can anyone confirm if Colin Thom also pulled up stumps? Could mean new coaches at about 4-5 clubs.
I would go for Andrew Brookside for Mosgiel
Andy Duncan at Roslyn
Richard Murray at University
Malcolm will be back at GI
Tony Martin will probably be at Tech you would think

Why would Mike Fridge stand down and then go to Roslyn?... You have no clue!

i reckon Tony Martin would be my first choice for Tech, otherwise Burgess & Smith

I'm unsure! Burgie has just had another child so not sure if he will want to coach...be interesting next year for sure!! Mikes done a phenomenal job at tech! He will be missed!! Leaving on a high though! Tech were brilliant this season! Only lost 1 game and were unbeaten since the 4th round! Mikes boys should be proud!

Here come the men in black.
That's a rough outfit. Far too many Varsity players that are not up to National League level. If I was marking Peter Rae and Daniel Morris as a defender I would be stoked. Who is Bara'ia Toubat?
