Big result from Roslyn yesterday taking down last season champions 3-2. What a result with Mepham, Watson and Attwood not on the team card. Had a read of the write up and it sounds as if Roslyn were the better side throughout the contest. Tom Batty beaten off his line? Is this true?

Is this Dunedin Technicals strongest team? If so Caversham will run away with the title by a landslide

Fair play to Roslyn, they were good value for their win against Tech, surprised they didn't win against Mosgiel

Outplayed by Mosgiel today, big news to come via the Cavy v GI game with a player being sent off after the final whistle, who wants to get the ball rolling

Referee Extraordinaire was ashamed by the Refereeing standard at the Cav game today!

What happened before during and after the game, spill the news

Awful calls any and everywhere by the refs, TJ got a red after game, yellows during the game for nothing, an AR trying to give a pen from 50 plus meters away was an awful watch

Jackson has pushed the ref, should be gone for the season!

is Aajay going for the Mark Chidley look these days?

Yer heard that about TJ, shame such a good player and no need to do that to an official no matter how bad they were.

I wasn't at the Cavy G.I game but Jackson is a senior player and should know better than to get involved in that rubbish. Whether the officiating is bad or not teams need to adjust to the poor decisions made and not take matters into their own hands. Unfortunately, there are only a few good refs left and is it any wonder when they have that crap to put up with. Be interesting to see what the outcome is for Jackson.

should be out for 4-5 weeks min but you wait FootballSouth won't do a thing

Not sure where all this talk about a red card and pushing a ref has come from. No one sent off prior, during or after that game. Wasn't there but I also wouldn't believe that if Tom J which affirms what I was told re no red cards.

BOOM

At the Caledonian Ground, it was a tense, tight struggle between Caversham and University, two evenly matched sides, with chances going begging at both ends.

Caversham's Sam Collier produced the only goal of the game with a well-taken strike in the 67th minute

Hey, lay off the anointed one.

Should it be laying his hands on a ref you will be looking at 3 months ( I believe that's the min)

Brookside. Read it. No red cards in that game. 2 yellows or otherwise.

I speak in facts. I don't speak on speculation. What I say is truth and accurate. You would do well to listen.

It was talked over with the ref after the game, TJ apologised and the report was never filed. He will not miss a game.

Seems fair, wonder if Abbo would have had his one against Qtown rescinded if he apologised afterwards.....

Just looked at the league table & Northern have 3pts?

Otago University fielded an ineligible player and were docked points, may get the point against Roslyn taken aswell.

Varsity and ineligible players is so last season.

Poor old Kennedy hasn't quite grasped that 2 yellows = a red, he speaks only in facts though

don't think its the last we have heard from this incident , if he has abused or physically abused the ref in any way after the whistle he will go for a skate for a few more weeks, prob 3-4

See you in round 2 sometime Tommy Jackson

the Jackson incident has overshadowed Mosgiel's win over Roslyn, well done Brooksie & his troops, good to see the shield going around a few clubs

Looking forward to being fit for the Caversham game this weekend. We all saw what happened without me on saturday. That wouldnt have happened on my watch.

Sauce - yes please. If you're after my source rather then I can tell you it was straight from GI management. There was no 2nd yellow or red issued. The fact a retrospective red has been applied shows what a circus this all is.

One good tackle on the half way line stops that sort of train.

Do D TECH actually have any defenders?
No Joy. No Tech. No idea.
