Vickmiest has booked out tickets and somewhere to stay. So who is actually going as we should all meet up?

I know that Me, Vickmeist and Capes is going. Who else?

I am, but am not taking the package and am staying with family.

Will be going, but like everything Fever, we'll prbably organise it the week before because we're a shambles.

Reminds me, must chase Palmy plans.

Cool. So anyone know about pubs and that before the match?

Mate, this is over 6 months away. Plenty of time to sort out stuff later on.

Yeah obviously, but what are the pubs like near the stadium? I've only ever been to chch once.

Well, you've got 6 months to make a second trip to Christchurch and check it out for us.
Or failing that, you could search online. ...

AC/DC concert is on THURSDAY 28th Jan...so why was the game moved???

Only thing I can think of is that they might add another couple of dates but I can't honestly see it?

Do you have any idea how long it will take to dismantle the ground from a concert ?

Would've thought a home game on the Sunday would've been possible.

Ah well, maybe now I can go to Christchurch as well! Not good times for my wallet though!!

As well as taking ages to tidy up and sort out the stadium after a concert, I'm pretty sure that there was a date change for the ACDC concert and it was moved to the Thurs.

Yes, the date was changed. Because they added an AUCKLAND concert also.

So the f**king promoter has screwed the Nix out of a home game, moved from a weekend booking to a Thursday, and added an Auckland gig along the way.

And in regards to cleaning up after a concert, the main worry would be the state of the pitch. I remember pitches in Oz were turned into mud bowls for weeks after New Years events.

Seems there will definitely be a Saturday AC/DC concert if the first one sells out quickly.

There was always an Auckland one scheduled btw.

Unfortunately I am not making the trip down to CHCH for this game, the relatives that I was sposed to stay with are now coming up to Wellington for the ACDC concert on the 30th. To apologize, they bought me a ticket to the concert so....

But still slightly miffed I will be missing the game.

Do they need a house sitter while they are up here? If not, what is their address. I can keep any eye on the place for them and feed the cat etc., while I am down there for the game!

I'm slightly disappointed!

I'll be down in CHCH mid-August to visit family, so will give me a chance to try out a few of the bars.

Personally, I think we should get everyone after we win the game, and march to the Holy Grail in full voice :)

Are you f*cking mental?

One trip to the Village of the Damned in a lifetime is more than enough.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.
