Also on this for anyone wondering about options of getting from Sydney to Canberra -
Flixbus (an intercity bus company from Europe) has just started in Australia and at the moment is offering buses from Sydney to Canberra for 9.99AUD - they go from both Sydney Central Station and Sydney Airport. It stops in central Canberra (more central than the train station) The trip only takes 3hrs 10mins which is faster than the train also (as the train has many stops, whereas the bus is direct).
I haven't used Flixbus in Aus (used it once in Europe though) but they have WiFi and power outlets.
I used Murray's bus from Sydney Central to Canberra the other month for the All Whites game and those buses are usually about $47 one way and also 3hrs 10mins. It also had WiFi, usb ports and seats were reasonably comfortable. It was pretty easy and a decent price (I think train tickets are usually more expensive).
Edit: looks like Murray's is currently matching Flixbus' offer by offering $10 seats at the moment
We have spent $12NZD pp on a bus ticket to Canberra, pure away days vibesHalf a Pint

Any news on whether these shirts are going ahead? I filled out the form the other week but haven't heard anything since
I got an email today saying they've come in, so if you haven't heard anything since you posted I'd suggest pinging Ethan (FransenFC here, or your favourite social media platform).
At least eight of us at the airport this afternoon making our way to Canberra via Sydney, and we got to say hi to Bev because the Wāhinix are flying over as well.

Sadly not, but I’m always impressed by how willing she is to make time for a bit of banter with the fans. I know that’s part of the job, but still she comes across as very down to earth.
The Clock (470 Crown St, Surry Hills), Pendulum Lounge from 1pm then heading to the stadium about 4.
Not sure how many of us will be there bang on 1 because the train from Canberra gets in about 11 and people will have to go drop luggage at hotels etc. But please tell them they’re most welcome!
Well that's a very successful Tour. They got results and had a good time. Bl00dy legendary! And once again that infamous Phoenix suit on display at both games.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!
